February 24 came by fast. At this point Hazel achieved a perfect spell on herself. She was more than ready but she still felt nervous.

During the morning she didn't see Kialo. She asked Draco countless of times where he could possibly be and every single time he answered with a scream at her. Hazel didn't notice until now how dependent she was of the blond boy up to a point where she felt empty.

As always it was all blurry until she was standing just before the water in her swim suit with a large crowd behind her screaming her name.

Fleur gave her a sweet smile before the signal of the starting time was heard. Hazel quickly grabbed her wand performing the spell on her.

A number of gasps were heard when in a matter of seconds her legs were replaced by a green tail. Her swim suit became a soft green hugging her skin just perfectly, Hazel's hair instead of its usual black turned blonde with multiple blue highlights suiting the girl just perfectly.

Hazel quickly jumped onto the cold water. She was instantly surrounded by silence, the kind of silence that her ears started to hurt.

Everything looked green to her and kind of blurry, Hazel couldn't recognize things perfectly, she even once hit glass which she guessed was a window somewhere in the Slytherin common room. When she was in between some huge seaweeds she swam as fast as she could to the other way when at the distance she recognized an enormous tentacle of the Black Lake giant squid.

Her muscles were staring to ache, she was easily going to give up when she noticed people floating from her left side. Hazel swam towards them noticing how Kialo along with Hermione, Fleur's sister and Ron Weasley were peacefully floating around while being guarded by a few Merpeople. Kialo looked unconscious and for the first time, peaceful. Hazel laughed to herself causing a few bubbles to leave her mouth, she proceeded to hit him on his groin just because. While chuckling thinking about how hurt is he going to be when he wakes up. Hazel let him free with a breaking spell starting to swim towards the surface.

Almost reaching the light Hazel heard a scream at the distance followed by a loud screech. She stopped for a moment waiting for anything else to happen and when another scream was heard she slowly let go of Kialo pushing him up to the surface. She waited until she saw how his legs moved by their own when he breathed oxygen for the first time and that's when Hazel started swimming deeper into the water wanting to find out what caused the scream. It sounded like Fleur was in trouble and she wanted to help.

Hazel quickly regretted her decision once her eyes could realize the size of the sea monster that was swimming her way. Without thinking she turned invisible gaining her time in hiding from the giant monster, no idea what the hell was that.

Meanwhile, everybody let cheers of joy leave their mouths when they saw Kialo come out of the water but they slowly died down when nobody could see Hazel by his side.

Sirius stood up from his seat watching with close attention at what Dumbledore was telling Kialo.

"What's wrong?" Lily asked standing up to followed by James.

"Are you clearly sure Hazel wasn't at your side?" Dumbledore questioned Kialo while everyone listened.

Kialo shook his head while he was being wrapped in towels. "I don't— remember- anything"

Dumbledore nodded in understanding. Turning to look out to the water again hoping the girl would resurface. She was too important to lose her like this. Hazel was a danger to let out of the eyes of any adult since she was an important key to the war that will most likely happen in a few years.

Everybody was on edge when contestant after contestant came from under the water with their love ones. Sirius now at Dumbledore's side, along with Lily gripping tightly Harry, James and Remus, nervously watched the unmoving water.

Suddenly screaming was heard coming from under the water. Dumbledore and Moody walked closer to the water with wands at their hands. The place was deadly silent, not even the water seemed to be moving and time most likely stopped for a second.

Dumbledore just wishes the girl is alright.

But right before he was about to call the Merpeople out of the surface came Hazel coughing up water still under the spell. Severus Snape helped her up and placed her on the cold floor. Moody said the conter course, her tail and hair disappearing coming back to her old way.

Kialo and Aurelius wrapped her in towels trying to keep her warm. She was coughing trying to focus her eyesight on something.

Dumbledore and McGonagall came forward to Hazel watching her with horror and worry in their eyes.

"Miss Black, what happened down there?"
Dumbledore asked. He knows for sure it wasn't any creature from the lake, he made them swear nothing was to happen to the kids.

"Merrythought" Hazel quickly corrected. Sirius hearing what she just said tried to hide the hurt in his eyes. "I was attacked, this man asked for my wand and- and he forced me into giving it... He performed the imperious curse on me but some Merpeople helped me escape" Hazel recalled trying not to stumble on her words.

Sirius froze on his spot as well as all the adults present.

The prophecy was becoming true, they just hope not all of it becomes reality.

After a few minutes in which Hazel pretended not to notice Sirius looking at her, it wasn't much pretending really, her vision was all blurry because her eyes had to get used to the new bright light. She ended up being in first place because of Kialo reaching the surface first than anybody.

She couldn't wait to fall face flat on her bed and sleep a hundred years.

McGonagall paced all over Dumbledore's office with Mad-eye Moody and Snape following her with their eyes while Dumbledore placed memory after memory in his pensieve.

"First Potter and now Black" McGonagall started breaking the silence after a long time. "This has to be put to a stop, Albus" She spoke again with a much aggressive voice.

"There's nothing to do Minerva" Dumbledore replied not looking at the woman with furious eyes.

"Then what? Let her die for a war she doesn't need to fight for?" McGonagall tried again. She wished so hard the young girl was pulled out of this mess, she already got enough on her plait.

"Professor McGonagall, she, after all, makes part of the prophecy, there is no point in trying" Alastor Moody deeply spoke. The woman flicker her eyes to Dumbledore, who just stared at her with no emotion.

"This is unbelievable... the poor girl-" McGonagall started but stopped herself before saying anything else. Instead she just sat down once again not looking at anybody. The prophecy, such a stupid thing to believe in yet it was becoming reality. McGonagall couldn't believe Hazel Black was supposed to help Lord Voldemort, nobody could explain how or why but she had a very good guess why Hazel will be fond of Voldemort.

"We don't know for sure what the prophecy says Professor. For all we know, it mustn't be that... Dreadful" Severus spoke for the first time.

"Severus is right. All we must do is wait" Dumbledore gave a finish to the conversation, dropping one last memory in the pensieve.
