*Steve's point of view*

Well, it's been a year. One of the best years of my life. The woman of my dreams moving in with me. I can't stand my life without her. After Nat was released from the Care Unit, she came straight up to me and we sat all day watching any movie or TV show she wanted, I was just glad to be in her presence.

Once we both had regained our strength, we sparred together, every evening. We still do. Tony and Fury both put us on missions together as they knew we would do anything to protect one another.

But thankfully, now, we have earned some time off, so I planned something special.

"Why are we going to Paris?" She asked, her emerald eyes contrasted with her luscious red hair.
"Because I have a surprise for you." I said, knowing she hates surprises.
"Steeeevvveeee, what have you done?" She rolled her eyes, her head landing back on to the head rest of the plane seat.
"You'll like it, I promise you." I teased, gripping her dainty hand with mine.
"I better, we get two weeks a year off. If I'm wasting that going on a baguette tour I swear to god, your going to get a baguette inserted somewhere you will not like!" She warned, oh I can't wait for the next two weeks.
"Calm down, babe. We are not going on a baguette tour!" I laughed, seeing her smirk from the corner of my eye.

I decided that for the next two weeks, we are going to act like a normal couple, not a super one. So I brought flights instead of getting Clint to drop us off on his way back to his family.

We arrived safely in Paris, the heat taking both of us back, New York is barely ever this hot! I managed to speak a little but of French in the airport to get us a Taxi.
"You know I can speak French, right?"
"Your kidding me! You just watched me pull out a French Dictionary and completely fail at speaking to a French Taxi driver and you knew French already?!"
"Yeah, you look so cute concentrating when your trying to learn a new language. It was rather funny as well." She laughed as we exited the Taxi. Her Jaw dropped at the sight of the hotel. Bright lights beamed from the windows, Roses to be seen in every direction. "Its... beautiful. How did you afford this?"
"I've been saving for 6 months." I grinned, taking her hand. We both carried our suitcases up to a luxury suite I had specifically asked for. Rose petals scattered across the Golden room.
"You went all out here, Steve. Is this the surprise?" She smiled a contagious smile. A grin began to spread over my face as she wrapped her hands around my neck. My hands sneaked around her waist.
"No, surprisingly." I laughed. "Come on, let's go for a walk."
"Food first."

We filled up on Pizza at a local restaurant. You can tell where we were if we only showed you a picture of the restaurant, that's how French it was. I paid the bill, which was extremely expensive but it was worth it, that pizza was amazing! I took Natasha's hand and we began walking down the River Seine.

The most romantic city on Earth.

The perfect place for my surprise.

*Natasha's point of view*

He is so dreamy. He took me to this amazing hotel, this amazing City. Of course I've been to Paris before but that was mainly for a mission to stop an assassination, but this time, I can really be me. I can see the City in a new way, and I can do it all with the man of my dreams.

We walked down the Seine, towards the Eiffel Tower. The sun was setting, the river reflected the street lamps that lay evenly scattered down each street. We stood on the bridge just in front of the Eiffel Tower. Lights began gleaming off the tower, shimmering against the purple sky.

Can this get anymore perfect? The man of my dreams. The most Romantic city on Earth. This is my dream.

Steve began fiddling with his fingers as we stared out on to the water, what's on his mind?

"Right, I dont know how to do or say this." He said, turning to face me, his cheeks turning a rosy shade of red.
"Spit it out, Rogers." I teased. He turned to face towards me as I did him. He held both of my hands in front of him and looked down at them. He took a deep breath and began to speak.

"Ever since I met you, my life became, well a dream." He is going to make me blush, oh wait, too late. "I know it hasn't all been smooth sailing from what happened with you know who. And I know it was my fault. I regret it everyday and I will hate that man until I die. But all of it led me here. This moment. With you. Your the most important thing I have in my life. You are my partner in crime, or should I say fighting crime." He laughed, as did I. What is he getting at? "Your the light of my life and the fire in my soul. Your a pain in the ass and you know it." I laugh again, smiling into his blue eyes. "I never want to leave your side. I never want to leave you. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me and I can never repay you for all the love you have given me. All I can do is return the favour. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I want to wake up everyday next to you. So I'm going to ask you this," He let go of my hands and reached into his pockets, pulling out a little black box. He stumbled on to one knee. I'm speechless. Is he going to? "Natalia Alianovna Romanova, or Natasha Romanoff, will you make me the happiest man to ever walk this planet and become my wife?" He quivered. I quivered. Tears formed in both our eyes. The little black box opened to reveal a small silver ring with the prettiest love-heart shaped diamond on the top. My hands covered my mouth. I'm literally speechless. My eyes became blurry from tears. Tears streamed down his face. "Well?" He laughed. I began nodding my head.
"Yes. Yes. Yes. A million times, yes!" I cried out. He rose from his knee and wrapped his arms around me, squeezing me into his shaking body. I'm engaged. Im engaged to the man I love. I wrapped my arms around his neck and squeezed his head into my shoulder. We both released the tears into eachothers shoulder.

We finally let go of eachother and he slid the beautiful ring on to my small fingers. Perfect fit. This is perfect. It can never get better than this. After admiring the ring, we kissed as fiancees. The best kiss I've ever had. This is the best. He is the best kisser. He includes so much passion and love when our lips collide, I just love him, more than words can say.

"I love you, Steven Grant Rogers." I smiled, our foreheads and noses touching.
"I love you, Natasha Romanoff." He smiled.

We've gone through a lot. A hell of a lot.

But when you love someone, when truly love them, you can always make it out in the end.
