(Elana)

I was excited that the team I was on was made up of Mia, my brother, and I. I heard from the teacher that Mia was good at Volleyball, so this should be easy, right? I looked at my brother Nick with shock, like everyone else, for a few seconds and then shook my head and watched as he came over to me and Mia.

"What was that about?" I asked Nick, usually he wasn't one to throw punches.

"She was making fun of you again, and the look on her face made it seem that she was planning to do much worse this time other than just call you names" Nick said, and then I nodded, understanding his reasoning for it.

"Just don't do anything like that, you could've gotten caught for Pete's sake!"

"Yeah yeah, I know this, but at this point I honestly don't give two fucks"

I chuckled at his words, but I was the one who wasn't one to throw cuss words; but if I ever did you best believe we are in some deep trouble.

When the teacher blew the whistle Nick, Mia, and I went to one of the volleyball courts and my face dulled when I saw who we were up against first. It was Lily and her drama queen friends, well only 2 of them but still. This is gonna be fun, I thought sarcastically.

Then, all of a sudden, it happened again. The lights suddenly blared in my eyes, slowly becoming blinding along with my head feeling like it was going to explode. I tried to ignore it, however, and the game started.

I could somehow hear Lily talking about me from the other side of the volleyball court we were on, and I didn't know how I could because the class was being so noisy. Lily was smirking like the evil drama queen she was, and she chuckled.

"Who can bet that she's going to lose and freak out before this class is over? She looks like she's going to be sick. Though what would be worse is if they saw how much a freak she was, I heard she still likes those books about mystic cats, ha! That's for babies!" I heard her say, and at that moment I knew I have had enough.

"SHUT YOUR DAMN MOUTH! Who told you that you could ever blackmail and make fun of people like this?! Yeah! I know I'm not your only one!" I yelled at Lily, and then she looked at me like I was being delusional or something, but then she smirked.

Lily started to look at her nails like people sometimes do when their bored. "So what? All of them were outcasts that are easy to fool and play around with. You of all people should know how the popularity hierarchy goes, ya freak. The popular ones always toy with ones below them. It's always been that way, sweetheart" Lily said, like that was a good justification for it.

"So, you think that Karmyn, Abigail, Casey, everyone else I knew and others, were below you?! You will not get away with this, and I will make sure you won't!" I shouted at her, but then I suddenly felt like my entire body was burning up; I couldn't tell if its due to my anger or... no... it couldn't be.

Lily chuckled, but then I started to figure something out... it was blantly obvious at this point. Everyone Lily has ever made fun of the most... awakened, I realized wide-eyed. Lily knew what I was thinking, and her smile turned eviler than I have ever seen it.

Took you long enough to figure out that I wasn't what I seem, Elana, Lily's voice sounded in my head and I froze. Seemed Nick started to get it to, but for some odd reason Mia just stood there looking unphased by this.

Lily is a Red seeker, I thought to myself and I was sure Nick thought this to. I wanted to scream, I couldn't believe that all of my friends; Karmyn, Abigail, Casey... were taken in by the Reds of all people. I didn't want to believe it, but it was the only thing that made sense at the time. Mia stared Lily down, and then suddenly my headache got so bad that I was seeing crimson red and I lost feelings in my arms and legs.

I went down to my legs and my entire body started to hurt. I could both feel excruciating pain on every nerve of my body, but I also couldn't, and I was sure this would've hurt more than giving birth anyway. Every student backed up near the door as the teacher went to call 911, but everything was a blur and I could hardly see anything.

I screamed and suddenly I glowed a blinding white as every object started to levitate off the ground, I was sure I was glowing; although I couldn't see it. Out of the blares of screams, teachers yelling to call the authorities, and just general shock I could hear Mia's voice clearly from all of it.

"Everything will be okay, Elana. I am here now" Mia said, but then I had gotten confused. Before I could ask questions, the pain slowly started to subside, and I could see some things again; my vision getting clearer and clearer with every second.

I saw Mia holding me in her arms, her hazel eyes as comforting as ever. Although when I looked closer at her face, the more I noticed the presence of a fully shaded purple galaxy marking on her forehead slightly above where her third eye mark was.

"NO! LET ME GO! SHE'S MY SISTER DAMMIT! LET ME GO TO HER!" I heard Nick yelling as the other students and teachers continued to block his way. He was near me when I awakened, but the other students backed away when they saw I went down to my knees; he wasn't forced back until I glowed and levitated everything, and I knew because I heard his voice yelling my name in the blur.

"W-What's happening...?" I asked in a weak tone, but then Mia shushed me. She looked kind of frantic.

"I will explain everything later, right now I need to get you out of here and get you back home. Your parents are going to need to be notified of what happened" Mia said, and then I nodded to her.

She picked me up and ran with me, going outside and running to a truck; but before we could get to the car something tripped Mia and she fell and I went flying about a foot in front of her, and the fall wasn't very merciful in my opinion. I wanted to scream in pain, but my voice was too weak to even let out a whimper at that moment.

"Elana isn't going anywhere with you, Blue-Purple Superhuman. The Reds found her first, I found her first, just like with the others. I am not letting you and your kind steal away this one to like you did with the others. You know how it's supposed to go, finders' keepers" Lily said as she stood directly in front of Mia with her crimson blood red galaxy mark on her forehead, but she seemed to be more of a high-leveled Superling than a Superhuman.

Whatever the case, Mia and I knew we were in some big trouble.
