I stared at the file with wide eyes not believing what I was seeing. I looked back up at my parents questioning a lot of things, but then I looked at my file again.

"Is this all you were keeping?" I asked them with a monotone voice. They looked at each other and nodded, agreeing that there was nothing else that they were hiding.

"This is all of what we are aware of. We got Elana and you checked up in a government facility, a lab of some sort when Elana and you started to show supernatural signs" My mom told me as I opened my file and read through.

Legal Name: Nikola Caldwell
Age: 5 years old
Birthday: Born October 13, 4004.
Legal Guardians: Yua and Noah Caldwell (adoptive parents), biological parents and family are unknown.
PSI Diagnosis:
- Claircognizant (level 4)
- Precognition (level 2)
Notes: Patient has showed significant signs of claircognizants and at a sort of alarming level while most PSI's of his age level and gender are usually level 2s or below. He also shows signs of having precognitive capabilities but are at a weak level 2 and are expected to become stronger as he ages. We will continue to keep tabs on this patient along with others like him.

I looked at the file mystified and shocked. This explains everything that was happening with me, and why I was always right all the time. My sister even recalls me speaking in different languages without any lessons, I just spoke fluently when a person who spoke the language was around.

I wasn't a genius... I was more than that. I am a PSI, a Psychic Claircognizant. Now that I am thinking about it now, the more my instincts are repeating what they have been screaming since Elana has awakened. You're in serious danger.

I looked up at Mia and my adoptive parents with wide eyes, but for some odd reason Mia looked at my parents as wide-eyed as I was before she spoke in an unfamiliar language to my parents that they seemed to understand.

"он должен пойти со мной. Правительство убьет его, если они поймают его" Mia said, after a minute I understood what the language was. It was Russian, but I couldn't figure out what she was saying. Whatever it was it seemed to scare my parents, and then they responded back in Russian... keeping another thing from me I presume.

"мы знали об этом риске. Взять его. Убедитесь, что он в безопасности, Миа" My father said, and then Mia picked up an unconscious Elana and looked over to me as I was still trying to process what was going on.

"Come on, Nick. We don't have much time before the Reds track down Elana. We have to leave, and we have to leave now!" Mia said as she hurried me out the door.

I nodded and complied, running out of my house and into Mia's hover van that she used to break us out of school when Elana awakened. Mia ran out behind me and hooked Elana onto one of the hospital beds in the back and then went behind the wheel, but before we could ram on the engines we heard a blast hit the house barely missing the van. Mia went wide eyed again.

"Shit, it's too late. The Red hunters have already found us," Mia got out of the car and saw a bunch of droids hovering over the house with stun and laser guns, and Mia then got back into the car and didn't look at me, "Brace yourself, Nikola"

"What do you-" I asked but then was cut off when she suddenly rammed the engines and went full circle in the driveway.

I was getting dizzy, but I could tell that the droids were shooting at the hover van along with the Red Hunters were bracing for attack. I felt bad for Elana; I knew she wanted to run and escape this situation as much as Mia and I both did, but she was unconscious and paralyzed for the most part. She was holding onto a thin string of life in the darkness... I couldn't tell how much time she had left.

I looked back and checked up on Elana while trying not to panic at the situation, and her vitals were stable from the looks of it. The radio suddenly comes on and just before things couldn't get worse I heard her voice, it was Lily... the school bully turned Red Seeker.

"Surrender now, Mia Parker, and give me the PSI and Elana or I will send my Red Hunters to kill Yua and Noah Caldwell" Lily's voice said with an evil tone, and I could feel my blood run cold as I go pale.

"Don't listen to her Nick, Red's make threats like this and they never go through with them. She's just trying to scare me... to scare us. I don't plan on stopping this van until you are safe!" Mia said, but my instincts were telling me a different story.

"No, they mean it this time. I can feel it... I KNOW it... we need to get my parents out of there!" I said as I tried not to cry. She looked at me with her puzzled and horrified green hazel eyes knowing never to doubt my type of PSI, and she knew how many times I've been right about things like this.

"Shit... you may just be right," Mia pulled out a communication device and contacted someone, "Windbender, Oracle, do you copy?!"

"We copy, Impaired Dawn, what's the situation?" a female voice, another Blue Superhuman I assume, sounded from the device.

"Red Hunters and kill droids, need backup if I am to get out with the Superling and the PSI. Red Seeker is still on our tail"

"Right, send coordinates and we will save both the PSI and her Superling friend"

"Uhhhh about that... the PSI is a male teenager named Nikola Caldwell. Kind of rare to come by, I know, but that's no matter. Sending coordinates now"

Mia typed in some numbers and sent them to the people who I assume are going to help save Elana and I. Mia ended the call and looked all around outside at the van as I could see her blood run as cold as mine still was.

We were surrounded by killer droids and people with glowing red eyes and I could see Lily standing on the roof. I wished she would lose her balance and fall off, but I knew that she must've been more agile than that.

We could do nothing at this moment but wait for reinforcements. We were sitting ducks as Elana still clung on dearly to life.

I didn't like at all where this situation was going.
