Avyanna POV
I wake up the next morning. I go in the bathroom and look in the mirror at myself and I see that my face is still a bit swollen a bit. I get in the shower and I just cry. Why me? What did I do to deserve to be put in this situation?
I can't stop thinking about Dominic. It seems like when we made eye contact that we had an instant connection. He was so nice to me.
I can't think like this. I'm gonna be married to Liam.
I get dressed for work and I put on my fake glasses to at least hide my swollen eye.

I go to the kitchen to eat breakfast. Pam is in there making me breakfast.

Pam: Good morning dear.
Avyanna: Morning.

Pam POV
I look at Avyanna and I know immediately something is wrong.

Pam: Is everything alright?
Avyanna: Everything is fine.
Pam: I know you are lying. You can tell me.
Avyanna: As much as I want to, I can't. I don't want you to loose your job here because of me.

For my situation, I'm tight on my money. I can barely afford to live in my house. I at least make payments for the mortgage on my house.

Avyanna: I really appreciate everything you do, but I don't want you to get between this.
Pam: I appreciate how honest you are with me, but I don't like to see you be miserable.
Avyanna: I know.
Pam: By the way, Mr. Harrison informed me that he'll be away on business for a month. And he told me to give you this note.

Avyanna POV
Pam hands me the note. I read it to myself.

Avyanna,
I'm gonna be away on business for a month. Don't act like a fool and do something stupid. Your mother will be checking making sure you don't do that. You know the consequences.

Liam.

Some type of future husband he'll be. My mother is far worse than Liam. So this month will be horrible.
I finish my breakfast and I head to work.

Dominic POV
I'm in my office doing some work. Noah walks in.

Dominic: What's up?
Noah: I couldn't find anything much about Avyanna.
Dominic: What did you find?
Noah: I was only able to find about the hotel she works at and her fiancée. She works at a Renaissance Hotel in Manhattan. She works as a office manager. According to reviews, she's one of the best employees there.

Noah hands me the file of her work. It's mind blowing of what I've seen of her work.

Dominic: This is amazing. We have got to get her to help us with the management training with the resort in Miami.
Noah: I'll see what I can do.
Dominic: Now what about this guy she's with.
Noah: Do you not pay attention to the tabloids?
Dominic: Not really.
Noah: They are both practically in every magazine there is. According to People, they have it as if it's a love story for them.
Dominic: Is that even possible? I could tell that he was so controlling and arrogant.
Noah: I remember how terrified she looked when he saw her with us. Plus, her fiancé is the richest guy in New York. He owns a lot of businesses and everything.

I sit back in my chair and think for a minute. She's marrying a guy who is rich yet mean to her. This doesn't make any sense.

Dominic: Okay. Let's get to work on finding more people for this project that's in Miami.
Noah: Alright.

We both get back to work. I have to find a way to get Avyanna to be on board for this project. Not only to get close with her, but to have her level of expertise to help make this project a success.
Something about Avy—I mean Anna, strikes some interest in her. Not only does she have the most gorgeous eyes I've ever seen, but she's a mystery.
