I can't believe that I'm going to marry this amazing and sweet man.
Dominic: How are you feeling? Avyanna: Amazing. I'm on cloud nine. Dominic: Hahaha. Me too.
Dominic holds my hand.
Dominic: Is it too much to ask when you want to get married? Avyanna: Not at all. Like I was just thinking about that. I don't know why I have this feeling that I want to get married sooner than later. Dominic: That's up to your babe. Avyanna: I kinda want to. Like is within the next month or in the spring too soon? Dominic: Not at all, I just ready to spend the rest of my life with you. Avyanna: Aww. Me too babe.
We get to the house and we walk in the kitchen. Dominic's parents, his grandmother, my dad, Diana, Alyssa, and Noah are there.
Everyone: Surprise!!! Avyanna: What is going on here? Dominic: I had everyone to arrange a surprise engagement party for us. Avyanna: Aww baby. That's is so sweet. Alyssa: Dom told us everything. So we wanted to do this for ya. Avyanna: Awww. Diana: Let's see the ring.
I show my ring and everyone is in love with it.
Michael: I wanna make a toast. To Dominic and Anna. We know that Anna has been through a lot this year and I'm so proud of what she's becoming. Dom I have faith and I believe that you'll take great care of my Anna. I wish you guys the best. To Dom and Anna. Everyone: To Dom and Anna.
We all clink our glasses and drink our drinks.
Becky: Have you guys decided when you want to get married? Victor: Mom! They just got engaged. Becky: What? It's just a question. Dominic: Hahaha. We actually talked about it and we will let you guys know soon. Avyanna: Yeah. Just give us some time. Becky: Okay. Because I want some great grandkids.
Dominic and I look at each other shocked and everyone laughed. We celebrated our engagement with everyone. The next day we went to the fall festival the town was having and had a blast. We met AJ's wife and kids. As well as Anthony's wife and kids. They were so happy to hear that we are engaged. We enjoyed ourselves so much at the festival that I really didn't want to leave. Everyone that was there was so nice. The next day Dominic, Noah, Alyssa, and I left Vermont to head back to New York. Dad and Diana went back to Miami. Victor and Amy went back to their home in New Orleans. A few days after we landed in New York, Dominic and I began to plan for our wedding. We decided that we were going to get married in November. I know it may seem like it's too soon, but we love each other so much. I can't wait to marry the man of my dreams and be Mrs. Avyanna Newton. That name has a nice ring to it. Hehehe.
