Your Unexpected Journey

Where are you from?

You had been given water to drink, been offered a place by the campfire and started to feel the warmth returning to your body.
You dared take a glimpse at your company.
You knew who they were, your father read the book, you read the book several times...you always returned to the book when times been hard in your life...because it felt like meeting old friends everytime you read it.
You saw PJ movies...but these men, dwarves was nothing like the actors from the movie. They were short...but roughly build...strong apperance...handsome features, well under their beards. Bright eyes. Their whole apperance felt dauntless in a way...
One of them, the big, well fat dwarf looked like he could stop a train. You knew it was Bombur. He wore a lightgreen hood and his hair an beard was in a golden bronze color. His brothers well Bofur you you met when he caught you in the forest. You didn't knew dwarvs runned that fast cause you were a fast runner. Both Bofur and Bifur wore terracotta yellow hoods but Bofur had also this weird hat, made off wool and it looked like it had five tentacles that just stood out. Both brothers had brown beard and hair. Then at last you were brave enough to look at Thorin. He had dark brown beard and hair...a midnightblue hood with a silvertassel...a silverbelt...and intensive blue eyes looking at you.
You never looked down so fast.
"Whats a young lady like you strolling around in the forest all alone a late hour like this?" Well the baritone voice was almost as you imagine it would sound like.
"For you you are alone?" He looks at you and you look at him an nods. What are you gonna tell them?
It's gonna sound insane if you tell the truth because you think that travel between different worlds must not be looked at with healthy eyes...not in your world and not in Middle earth.
"Are you hungry?" Thorin ask you and you nods again.
Thorin looks over to Bombur an he fills a bowl with stew/soup and soon you have it in your hands, Bofur who sits next to you gives you a spoon an a piece of bread.
"I am alone...and I'm lost." You say to them and then you start eating and realize how hungry you are.
You can hear the dwarves muttering low in a language you don't understand. But you don't care...you are so busy eating. Its a root vegetable stew, rich in flavour.
"You want some more little rabbit?" You smile and nod and Bofur gives you a refill.

Supper is over and the dwarves smoke their pipes, blowing smokerings towards the starry sky.
Bifur did take out another bedroll and put in the middle of the four. You in the middle for your safty or so they would notice if you try to run away?
"What is your name then, and were are you from? I'm Thorin Oakenshield and this is Bofur, Bifur and Bombur" when there names are spooken they nod an smile at you.
"Me and Bombur are brothers, Bifur is our cousin and you are, little rabbit?" Bofur smiles.
" Im y/n..." you try to think out something fast...lies should be close to the truth otherwise you sooner or later just gonna snare yourself in a trap.
"I did run away...in a way and then I got lost in the forest..I live with my uncle and his family...it's not so...well pleasant..."
"So you don't wish to be brought home?" Thorin inquire.
You shake your head.
Thorin turns to the others again and they speak that different language again.
Thorin turns to you and say.
"We can't just leave you on your own. It's not safe. And you appear not to have packed anything of value to be outdoors." He reprimands you.
And he is right...you have like nothing...but it's really not your fault but you say nothing and take the lecture...
And when Thorin is done he just points his finger to the place in the middle and sends you to bed.

You do as your told. And stay awake a little bit longer. Just to hear the campfire crackle and see the sparks go up in the sky. And than you fall asleep.
