Chapter 5

I go over to the dining cart and sit on the couch. I turn on all the reapings from the other districts. 

District 1: The girl is blond-haired and blue eyes. Great another, Olivia disciple. I bet she's going to be all flirty with Cato. She looks kinda stupid though. Maybe I am just underestimating her but I don't want to team up with her. She announced her name. 'Glimmer'. That is the most stupid name I've ever heard. Glimmer. Even more stupid than Olivia. The boy though seems nicer. He is pretty tall. Maybe even taller than Cato, but he doesn't have as much as muscle as Cato. He volunteered. When the stupid dumb blond didn't. He said his name was 'Marvel'. I don't understand District one names sometimes. Sometimes they can just be so stupid. Marvel isn't as stupid as Glimmer though.

District 3: District 3 is so smart. The two tributes look really smart. They were both reaped. A 14-year-old girl named Amber and a 16-year-old boy named Noah. Both are brunettes with gray eyes. Just looking at their arms and legs. They look weak. Like they haven't had food in 2 days. But district 12 tributes always look like they haven't had food in 2 years. 

District 4: The girl looks like she is 16 years old. The boy, however, looks like he is 13. He has a red curly afro. Their names are Azora and Sebastian.  Azora was a volunteer when Sebastian was reaped. 

District 5: From district 5 the girl looks almost like a fox. Her name is Finch. She had red hair with green eyes. The boy from 5, is dark-haired, with dark eyes.  He is sorta taller than Finch. His name is Dean.  Dean does have some muscles but Finch looks really smart. They were both reaped.  

District 6: They look so weak. They were both reaped. Their names are Tamora and Jason. District 6 is poor and is not treated so well. So that's probably why they look so weak. They both look 16. 

District 7: District 7 tributes also look weak. Their names are Sienna and Wallace. They look about the age of 16. They were both reaped. 

District 8: The tributes from 8 literally look like they haven't eaten in a week. But it's not as bad as district 12.  They are both reaped. The girl looks about 15, and the boy looks 17. Their names are Savannah and Lee.

District 9: The tributes from 9 look so weak as well. The boy looks 14 and the girl looks 15. They are both reaped. The girl is named Demetria and the boy is named Craig. 

District 10: The girl from 10 looks weak, but the boy has some muscles. They are both reaped.  The girl looks about 16 and the boy looks 18. Their names are Susan and Timmer. 'Timmer' sounds like a district one name. One of the stupid names. 

District 11: I almost started crying seeing who the girl tribute is. A poor little girl who has to be 12. She seems so sweet. A little girl who was reaped named Rue. I know I'm not supposed to feel bad for these tributes but I feel bad for Rue. She is so young. I know already she can't take Cato in a fight, she'll die in the first 10 seconds. There is no way I can kill her. No way. She is too sweet and young. I've already lived up to 15, she'll never be able too. If there's a way I could make her live, I would. She is too young to die. The boy tribute looks like he might be as strong as Cato, if not even stronger. He looks 18. His name is Thresh. I sure hope Thresh won't kill Rue. 

District 12: A small little girl who must be 12, was reaped. There's no way I can kill her. Just like Rue. But then there is a volunteer. Great, there goes some of our sponsors because this is District 12's first volunteer. A brunette. Why would this girl volunteer? She gets on the podium and she says her name is Katniss Everdeen. She must have volunteered because the little blond girl is her sister. Then, for the boys, a boy is reaped with no volunteers. His name is Peeta Mellark. They both look 16. 

All of these tributes look like I can take in a fight. The thing is I can't take Rue in a fight. Plus I think Thresh will kill me if I came near him or Rue. I know Cato and I will team up with District one for sure. Maybe the girl from 4 but I don't think Cato would want the boy from 4 tagging along. Plus he looks really weak. No way Cato would let him be with us.
