At the end of the night, everyone had gone home after the meal. Jeff and Olivia had gotten back to her apartment. She grabbed his hand and led him to her bedroom. They both sat on the bed, Jeff admiring her neat, luxurious room.

"I have a gift." Olivia spoke. "I didn't want to give it to you in front of everyone because this is special." Jeff smiled at her comment and waited for the present. She got up, grabbing the small, wrapped box from her nightstand. She handed it to him and anxiously watched him open it. Giving Natalie and Corinna gifts was easy, because she knew them inside out. Whereas she didn't have the slightest clue on Jeff's interests. They'd only known each other for a few months.

Jeff unwrapped it and opened the box. Seeing a silver ring. It had white engraved initials 'O.M' with a small heart beside it. He slipped it out of its silk case and put it on his middle finger. "It's gorgeous." He spoke. "I really don't know how to thank you."

"You don't need to thank me, you deserve it." She giggled and walked over to her wardrobe, finding some of her pyjamas. "You can stay the night if you want to." She spoke, entering her bathroom. Jeff decided he would. He undressed and slipped underneath her soft sheets. He was happy with his birthday and happy he got the girl he wished for. But still had a few doubts.

When Olivia got underneath her sheets beside Jeff, she noticed his puzzled face. "What's bothering you?" She asked.

"Are you sure you want to be with me?" He asked. Olivia sat up and turned her lamp on, seeing his face dimly lit. She turned to him and placed a hand in his cheek. "What makes you say that?"

"You're 24, and I'm 29 now. Usually people wouldn't be okay with that." He stated. "And I really like you, I don't want to mess anything up or lead myself on." Olivia smiled a sympathetic smile.

"I can assure you that I want to be with you. I like you too much to care about how old you are. The age difference doesn't bother me at all. I want to be with you and I'm sure of that." Olivia responded. Jeff smiled and pulled her down to him, pressing a soft kiss to her lips.
