Jeff was apologetic for the rest of the night. He ran Olivia a bath, with candles and bubbles. He made her room tidy and was cooking dinner for her.

Olivia could smell the dinner from the bathroom, and she was hungry. She got out of the bath and dried herself, finding her sweatpants and a bandeau top. She saw Jeff walk into her room with two plates, her favourite meal freshly cooked and on the plate. She smiled and sat on the bed, grabbing the plate and beginning to eat. And after dinner, Jeff had washed up and tidied up after himself. Finally joining her in bed.

"I love you, Vi. So much." Jeff spoke.
"I love you too, Jeff." She responded.

And for the next few weeks, he wooed her as if they were still crushing on each other. He bought her MORE flowers, food, whatever she wanted. He surprised her with things and made her feel like she was the only girl in the world. Because she was. All he wanted was her, he wanted her to be his and didn't want another person. He really loved her and didn't want to ruin it.

It was December 24. Olivia wasn't with her family for Christmas, neither was Jeff. But they were together. They'd just finished washing up after their large dinner. And now they were giving each other presents. Olivia started.

She handed him the present, an abnormally large one, and he unwrapped the gold paper. Revealing a picture frame. It was the view from the hills, where they first became a couple. Jeff stared in awe at it, blushing as he looked over to Olivia.

"David helped me get in contact with the painters." Olivia spoke, feeling Jeff pull her in and kiss her tightly. He smiled and kissed her once more.

"Thank you." Jeff replied. "I love you so much."

Jeff handed her the box. It was small but it didn't matter to Olivia. She opened it and there was a ring. She pulled it out and saw the carvings, saying J.W. Just like the ring she got him last year. She loved it. They were matching now, and she slipped it onto her middle finger. She kissed him for what felt like forever. "This is the best present I could've asked for. I'm so happy with it." She spoke.

"I'm glad you like it." He replied. "Look on the inside of the lid."

Olivia picked up the lid and flipped it over.

'Lift the silk pillow up.'

She picked up the small, silk ring holder and looked underneath. Another note.

'Move in with me?'

Jeff seemed tense and nervous. Olivia smiled so much that her cheeks were starting to hurt. Nonetheless, she looked up and nodded at Jeff.

"This does mean a new apartment, I've been looking for others anyway. I want a change." Jeff spoke.
"Me too. I'm getting bored of my apartment."
