"What do I do?" Olivia asked, lacing around the living room in front of David and Natalie. "Do I call back? Do I ignore it? Do I block him?"
"What you need to do is think about yourself. How do you feel about him? Can you forgive him? Can you move on from him or not?" Natalie asked. Olivia sat down and put her head into her hands.
"It sounds stupid to say but as much as he's fucked me over, I still love the man. I can't stop thinking about him and missing him. I've had my dark period of drinking but I'm stronger than that. I can and I have forgiven him, I want him." Olivia reasoned, catching the attention of David.
"It's your call to make. I will support you no matter what you choose to do. But don't forget that you're a beautiful girl and you deserve so much more." He spoke. Olivia blushed and grabbed her phone.
"I'm gonna call him."
__
"Olivia?" She heard through the phone."Jeff." She replied.
"You have no idea how much I've missed your voice. And you." He spoke. "I miss you so much and I can't stop thinking about you. Todd tried to get me out and into other girls beds but I couldn't even try. I wanted you and I still want you. I'll always want you. I can't forgive myself for what I've done, but I want you back."
"Jeff, come to the house."
—
"I'm going home." Olivia told David.David frowned but spoke in his usual bubbly voice. "Why?" You just got here."
"I'm seeing Jeff, I'll come visit all the time." Olivia chuckled and wrapped her arms around him. "It'll be like I never left."
"Come over later, we can film."
—
Olivia waited anxiously in her living room. The house was tidy when she got back and it didn't reek of alcohol. She had showered, dressed and lightly dolled herself up. She hadn't seen Jeff in months, and she was nervous. Her heart had practically stopped when she had heard the knock. After opening the door, she saw him. He had scrubbed up well, freshly cut beard and hair, dressed semi-smart, and his pearly whites on show."Vi, I-".
Olivia had cut him off. She kissed him. It was a long kiss that felt as quick as a high speed train. She bought him in for another one, before putting her head to his chest. She cried and wrapped her arms around her ex.
"I couldn't move on. I turned to alcohol and didn't stop until I passed out. That's when David took me in and he's been helping me recover. And he's one of the closest people to me. But as much as I wanted to hate you, I couldn't. And I can't. I never can." Olivia explained. "I forgive you for it, because my love far outweighs my hatred, anger and spite. I've moved on from it and I want you, Jeff."
He kissed her once again, for longer. All these pent up emotions let out into one kiss. He wanted her more than anyone and anything.
"Olivia Mayer, I love you. Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked.
"Yes. I love you too."
