It was getting to Christmas soon, and Olivia was packing to head back to her family home. Her suitcase on the bed and clothes folded into it, Jeff beside it with a defeated look on his face. "I don't want you to go."

"I know, J, but I'll see you in time for New Years." Olivia replied. She climbed onto him and stroked his cheek with her thumb, smiling happily. He kissed her hand and let her finish packing, dreading the inevitable departure. But he had plans whilst she was gone, he was going to buy her present.

She was all packed up and at the airport now. But was waiting by the doors  for Jeff, who was walking incredibly slowly with her bags, so that he could see her for longer. His arms wrapped around her, squeezing gently, finally letting her go with a kiss. "Call me when you get there, so I know you're safe."

And she was gone.

And within twenty seconds, he received a message.

jeff💘: i love you more, enjoy your flight

Next was his trip to the city, to buy her present. He had the present in mind, and was determined to get exactly that. Which meant being in and out of particular shops all day, trying to find the perfect one. Weaving in and out of pedestrians, apologising for getting in their way, and heavy breathing due to stress.

He couldn't ask for help from any of his friends, because then they'd know and David would eventually vlog it. Meaning Olivia would know. So he had sworn himself to secrecy.

And then he found it.

Expensive but worth it, beautiful and definitely Olivia in gift form.

He smiled and bought it. As well as a box of other gifts to cover it all up. He took his presents home and felt successful. He kept the expensive present in his underwear drawer, somewhere Olivia never goes, and put her box of presents underneath the bed. Jeff needed to pack for himself, as he was heading home for Christmas too. But was distracted.
