She wanted to tell Jeff immediately, so she waited until that evening. She waited for Jeff to come home, finally returning with the dogs, at 7pm.
"Sorry I was so long, I took them for a walk. And I didn't leave David's until 6." Jeff spoke as he looked around for his wife. He checked around, finally seeing her sitting on their bed. She had a face of worry and fear.
Jeff sat down beside her and wrapped his arms around her. "What's the matter, baby?"
"I have some news." She spoke.
Jeff now felt sick. It could be anything, literally anything. He grabbed her hand and kissed it.
"I'm pregnant."
Jeff's whole train of thought crashed. He scanned around the room for a camera, not seeing a single one in sight. "Where are the cameras?" He asked.
"There is none. I'm being 100% serious. That's why Natalie and I rushed out this morning." She explained.
"You're really pregnant?!" He asked, his eyes widened. She nodded and looked down at her hands, fiddling with her wedding ring. He lifted her head up with his hands, kissing her. The kiss was almost as if he was reassuring her that everything was okay and he was totally happy about this. "I'm not one of those people who get mad when they find out their wife is pregnant. And also, I'm 30. I think by that time it's suitable to be settling down. But the most important question is, do you want this baby?" He asked.
Olivia hesitated. Jeff wanted this with her, and the only thing stopping her from wanting a baby was what he would say. And finally, with a nod. They were ready to tell everyone.
"Oh, let's not tell the viewers until later on." Olivia added. Jeff had kissed her lightly and chuckled, getting ready for bed.
