"Hey, did you have fun?" Olivia asked, sitting up from the couch as Jeff had walked through the door. Nerf had jumped from between Olivia's legs onto the floor, running to Jeff. After pressing a kiss to Olivia's head, Jeff sat beside her.
"Lots of fun." Jeff responded. Sitting next to her, he ran his fingers through her hair. "I'm so in love with you, you know that?" Olivia blushed at her fiancé's comment and unlocked her phone.
"So I have the guest list done. Erin and Carly were here and they were with Nerf but also helping me do the guest list." She spoke. "Now, we just need to order some invitations and send them away!" As she rambled on about the decoration and colour themes, Jeff sat there and listened. He knew it meant a lot to her, all of the designing and planning, so he went along with it for her. If it were up to him, he'd just have close family and friends in a church watching them say 'I do'. Every time he thought of the wedding, he'd get an excited sick feeling. The feeling you get before a concert, before your favourite rollercoaster, seeing your favourite person. And to think a few years ago he'd been in prison, and now he's going to get married.
"Also we need to write our vows." She finished. Jeff looked up and nodded, hearing the door bell ring. He had gotten up and opened it, seeing grocery bags everywhere. Confused, he looked over to Olivia who had jumped up from the couch and collected them. "I need to make dinner with something."
"Oh my god! This is amazing, baby." Jeff exclaimed. Olivia liked her new nickname. It used to be Vi, it still is, but now he's calling her baby. And she liked it. "You have to make more stir fry's."
They both sat watching Netflix on the couch, on the last episode of YOU: Season 1. Erin and Carly told Olivia to try it, because it's 'creepily phenomenal'. And now they'd almost finished a season. Olivia had her legs over Jeff's lap, Nerf was eating his own dinner in the kitchen and Jeff kept getting up for more of Olivia's delicious stir fry. After a while, the sun had gone down and they decided to go to bed. So with a change of clothes, they'd gotten into bed and tried getting to sleep. It was quiet, they both could hear each other's breathing. The window was slightly open to hear LA's constant traffic, and the occasional scream. And they couldn't sleep.
"Wanna get snacks and continue watching YOU?" Jeff asked.
"I thought you'd never ask."
