"Hey guys! So I'm vlogging because I don't have any video ideas." Olivia cheered. "Also, we're going to try on wedding dresses! You won't see the dress I choose until my wedding, because I know Jeff watches the videos."
Her, along with her chosen bridesmaids, entered the dress shop. Natalie, Erin, Carly, Kristen, Mariah, and Corinna. They were killing two birds with one stone, finding both the wedding dress and the bridesmaids dresses. After a long talk with Jeff the night before, they had decided their wedding colours were white and blue. But Jeff had told Olivia to 'choose the shade of blue because he doesn't have an eye for coordination.'
After every dress the girls were shown, an array of compliments were thrown at her. And she found the perfect dress. Figure hugging but not too tight, lace arms, off the shoulders, a lengthy train. It was beautiful. It felt like her soulmate in dress form. She had walked out to show the girls, who remained completely silent.
"I assume your lack of comment is a good thing?" Olivia asked, hiding her face because she was bashful.
"You look beautiful."
"If Jeff doesn't cry, I'll marry you instead."
"Oh my!"
"Okay, this is the dress I want." Olivia spoke, looking over to the sales advisor. She nodded and headed towards the till, as Olivia took off her dress.
Next was the bridesmaids dresses. There were what felt like an infinity selection of blues. Light blue, royal blue, baby blue, dark blue. She got each girl to try on a different shade. Mariah's beautiful complexion worked well with the light blue, contrasting Erin's pale skin in the dark blue. Olivia was torn, because all the girls looked stunning. But she opted for light blue. Now their only mission was to find the style of dress. Olivia wanted floor length dresses, but the girls could choose what style between themselves. And when they all appeared from behind the curtains, Olivia stated at her gorgeous friends in awe. It was the perfect dress.
—
"I would say that was a pretty successful trip." Olivia spoke into her camera, her arms around Jeff. They were back at home, all the dresses were kept with Natalie. "Now it's yours turn, Jeff."
"It's only February, we have ages. We don't even have the date set yet."
Olivia turned off her camera and placed it onto her table. She wanted to soak in this moment with Jeff. His arms were tightly around her and they were swaying in the dimly lit living room. He pressed kisses to the top of her head, and she laid against him in pure happiness.
"I'm so lucky to be marrying you." He whispered.
Olivia smiled to herself and hummed in response. They were now laid in bed, Olivia was half asleep and Jeff was cuddling her from behind. Their favourite way to sleep.
