Namikaze -Iruka Umino-

Chapter Ten

Since Naruto had left for the mission the woman missed her nephew. She wanted her family all home, she always worried about the boy but knew that he needed to learn to fight. After a few more days she started to worry, but one morning as the woman stood in the kitchen in her pj's the front door slammed open. This caused Asa to look around the corner to see Naruto shutting the door.

A smile broke out on Asa face as she ran to the boy, engulfing him into a hug. Naruto laughed as he hugged his aunt back. Iruka heard the noise and walked out to see Asa hugging the blond. Iruka chuckled behind them, snapping a picture of the two.

"Welcome home Naruto," said Iruka. The boy smiled up at his sensei and to his aunt as the two smiled back at him. Asa's smile was just as wide, one that Minato and her shared. Their looks were the same, her hair just being longer and her frame more feminine. Naruto shared the same looks as the Namikaze's.

"I'm glad your home," Asa said. Hugging the boy one last time, before running to the kitchen. She finished breakfast then rushed to the hospital. Asa was almost late, but the girl ran in just in time. Asa got right to work, checking to see if she needed to help anyone right away.

Seeing that there was a Jounin that needed quick healing she headed right away. It was only a wound on his leg, but something she healed quickly before checking on a mother and her baby before heading away again to see who else she needed to help.

As Asa was checking in on one of the patients she had the woman noticed a brown bird flying in the air. This was a summon, the woman excused herself before rushing off. Letting the head medic know she needed to run. Being a Jouninn herself when they all were summoned that meant her too.

All the Jounins that were summon stood in the Hokage building. Asa stood by Iruka's side she as listened to what the Hokage had to say.

"I have summon you for an important purpose. See your fellow jounin here you realize what this is about," announced the Hokage.

"I take it all the other clans have been notified of the up coming event. I notice some of their genin have already arrived here in the village," Asuma said looking up.

"And when do we start" Kurenai said what Asa was thinking. The woman knew what this was. The Chunin exams.

"We will begin in one week," announced Lord Third.

"That's pretty short notice," sighed Kakashi.

"Take hed, exactly seven days from today. On the first day of July. Only genin will be taken and tested, only the best will be selected as chunin," called the Hokage. Asa looked up at Iruka to see the look he held, she could tell he didn't like this. Iruka looked at the woman to see she already knew what he was thinking.

'She knows me so well,' Iruka thought to himself. It was hard for him to hid much from the woman. After spending so much time with him she knew what he felt or thought. That same with her, Iruka knew her so well. He knew her fears, thought, and even dreams.

"Alright it is time we chose our candidates to for the chunin selections. Will the three of the rookie genin step forward. Kakash, Kurenai and Asuma. Is there any ready in your team who are ready to take the exams even though they are inexperienced. As you know any genin as carried out 8 or more mission can take the exams if they are ready. Of course most genin require more training, at least twice that many mission. So Kakashi you begin," explained Lord Third.

"I lead squad seven. Sasuke Uchiha, Naruto Uzumaki and Sakura Hurno. I Kakashi Hatake recommend all these genin for the chunin exams."

"I lead squad eight. Hinata Hyūga, Shino Aburame and Kiba Inuzuka. I Kurenai Yuhi recommend all three."
