Namikaze -Iruka Umino-

Chapter Seven

Within the last few years Asa had been working and going onto missions more often leaving Naruto and Iruka alone at home. She felt bad for this, knowing that it wasn't easy on the boy being alone. As the girl walked back into the village from a mission she was heading for the Hokage's tower to report. On her way she heard yelling, she could only imagine what was going on.

This last mission had been going on for weeks and the girl was happy to be home to see her two favorite people. As Asa made it closer she saw paint all over the Hokage stone faces. Asa sighed as she could only assume that it was Naruto, she had been hearing all about his misbehaving.

After her report she went to find the boys, but it didn't take much when she heard voices.

"This sucks. Loser," huffed out Naruto.

"Your not going home until you clean off every single drop of paint," Iruka told the boy.

"So what there not like there's anyone waiting at home for me. Asa gone all the time and your not around," Naruto yelled. Asa stopped walking when she heard that, the girl looked to see Iruka and Naruto.

"Naruto," Iruka called out to the boy below him. Naruto looked up at his sensei with squinted eyes.

"Whadda want now sensei," grumbled Naruto.

"Well I was just thinking maybe once all of this is cleaned up I'd take you out for ramen the good stuff what do you think?" Iruka asked.

"Huh now that's some serious motivation. I'll have this cleaned up in no time!" yelled Naruto as he scrubbed faster at the stone. Asa stood below the heads, hiding in the trees so she could listen to their conversation. The woman felt pain in her heart as she heard the Naruto was alone. She never wanted him to feel that way, she was supposed to be there for Naruto.

Asa jumped from her hiding and ran back to the Hokage tower, she raced up the stairs and to the office. Asa didn't bother to knock on the door as she opened it up and walked right in. Lord Third looked up from his paper work and looked at the girl as she stood there with an emotionless face.

"Asa, what can I help you with?" the Third asked.

"Can you let me have a while. I want to spend time with Naruto. I've been on mission too much for the past few years. I want to see him for a while," Asa said. The conversation between sensei and student still ringing in her head. The Hokage noticed the look and knew she heard of his misbehaving.

Iruka had talked with the Hokage about bringing Asa back for a while to let the girl be with her nephew. Lord Third also knew that Iruka was having a hard time too. He would spending a lot of the time at the academy, leaving Naruto on his own most nights.

"Iruka had talked with me as well. He voiced how the two of them misses you. Take some time off from mission, but at least go to the hospital to see if they need help," Lord Hokage told the girl. Asa bowed her head in respect as she turned to leave.

"Thank you Lord Hokage," she thanked before running off and back home.

When the girl walked into her house she saw that there was some cleaning needed. Scrolls laid around the living room, she assumed from Iruka. Asa walked into the kitchen to see dishes in need of cleaning, then walking to the boys bedroom she saw clothes every where. Asa sighed out knowing she had a lot of house work ahead of her.

Asa got to work, starting with the dirty clothes knowing that would take a while. She arounded them up and got them ready for being washed. She then stared on picking up the living room, getting everything picked up, floor swept and the house clean of dust. The last place was the kitchen were Asa now stood cleaning.
