Chapter 24- I trusted you Wonder

Everyone looked at wonder, waiting for her to start. "Well I guess you're all waiting for me now" She said quietly.

The guilt of knocking out her best friend and fellow leader was eating her alive, and although she couldn't wake her up now, she felt as if she had too.

"Fire was originally from Sky Kingdom as you are all aware. General Sky is her brother and she ran away shortly after the squids attacked, killing their parents" She said.

Jason rolled his eyes. "Well yeah duh we already knew that. Get to the good stuff!"

Wonder took a deep breath and let it out. What was she meant to tell them now? That she didn't actually know a lot about Fire's past herself? Pft they'd probably be annoyed.

"I met her one day in the forest and as young kids we signed our names up for two army's. Fire didn't like being around me an awful lot so she kept to herself. We were denyied our army's starting kits so we built a temporary village. One by one people joined up to us and then bam here we are today!"

Ian nodded his head before asking a question that struck fear throughout wonder and curiousity throughout everyone else. "Where do you come from?"

Unable to think of a lie quick enough to tell them, Wonder was left with no choice but to tell them herself.

"I'm from the stars originally" She said softly as Jason took a sip of water.

The water squirted out of Jason's mouth and onto Jerome who was sitting opposite them.

"What!" He stuttered.

"I left the star army whilst Jason's dad was in control. The same year I left was the same year the army was passed down onto Jason" I said quietly.

"Why did you leave?"

"The army offered nothing for me. After all I didn't ask to join the stars, I was born into it" I sighed.

Jason let out a smile. "It's alright. You're star material."

Mitch frowned and glared at Jason. Is this his way of flirting with her? Its pathetic. Back of Jason he thought.

Wonder smiled softly, her blue eyes shining against the light of the room.

"Huh?" Fire stirred from the other side of the room. She stood up only to fall back to the floor from blood loss.

"Fire!" Wonder squeaked and rushed over to her bestfriends side.

"Water" Fire replyed raising an eyebrow. "You knocked me out!"

Wonder took a step back. "I'm sorry."

"You told them my past!"

"I'm sorry fire okay?"

"No I trusted you and you went and told the enemy!" She screeched.

She stood up bravely and walked from the room, glaring at them all. Well all except one.

"I'll go after her" Deadlox said as he started to get up.

"Leave her. I'll deal with her" Jade said and teleported after the fire user.

Fire ran throughout the castle to Deadlox's room. She shut the door and locked it tightly before resting up against the bed and closing her eyes, taking deep breaths.

"There you are."

Fire jumped, her eyes flying open as she whipped around only to see Jade standing there.

"Oh hi."

"Hello Fire. That's a nasty cut on your head" Jade said as she sat down and fire sat next to her.

"Yeah I guess I mean, Wonder, my own best friend, gave it to me" Fire replyed sadly.

Jade nodded her head before reaching out to touch the back of Fire's head. "Can I?" She asked just to make sure.

"Go ahead" Fire grumbled.

Jade placed her hands over the cut on her head and healed it quickly with her healing magic.

"Woah it's all healed now" Fire said amazed.

Jade and Fire had gotten rather close in that day they spent together at Dead Castle.

Why Wonder? Why? I trusted you. Fire thought sadly. I really did.
