Chapter 40- Rude guards and Plan B

Fire sat anxiously in her bedroom in the castle that she called home. Something was eating away at the back of her mind but no matter what she couldn't figure out why her castle didn't feel the same.

She assumed it was because her best friend, who was practically her sister, wasn't there. She assumed that was one of the reasons her castle no longer felt like home.

Did I make the right choice in coming back? Did I make the wrong choice in leaving them all behind? She questioned herself. Fire shook her head, no. She couldn't be questioning herself now, not at this moment in time, not when things were just going back to normal.

As the night grew on, the girl grew more restless. She laid down on her bed, tossing and turning, trying to force herself into sleep. She usually had no problem falling asleep, as long as she was comfortable. And her bed was comfy, it always had been, so why couldn't she sleep?

I've had enough of this she thought, sitting up on her bed, rubbing the non existent sleep from her eyes. She sat up and got dressed in her normal attire before checking a clock that was on her bedroom wall. 10:48

She slipped on her boots and tied up the small laces at the top. They weren't nessacery to untie to get on, but she felt that untying them and tying them back up would help settle her nerves, even if the laces were just purely there for decoration.

Grabbing a blank sheet of paper and a quill, Fire scribbled down a note in her neat handwriting and left it on her pillow. Grabbing her Lava sword, the only one in existence, she smashed through the window and dropped out of the side of the castle, landing on her feet and doing a forward roll to balance herself.

Fire had angled her jump just right so that she was on the other side of the castle walls. She put her lava sword in its sheath around her waste and ran into the darkness.

I've got to go sort out some unfinished business, don't worry about me. I'll be fine. Lillie and Yaz are in charge again until I return.

The Kingdom of Minecraftia was silent as most of the inhabitants slept apart from the mobs and one purple haired girl.

As she ran was sniping mobs down from a distance with a flame bow, and getting rid of the ones up close with her sword that never broke.

Dawn sat up in bed sleepily, rubbing her eyes as she went to move from her fiancée's side. Something was wrong and she could tell.

Not wanting to wake Sky up from his peaceful sleep, she got out of bed and went on a search for anyone else who was awake.

Fire stopped as she stared up at the massive castle that had practically been her home for 3 months.

She walked right up to the gates in front of the castle and tried to smile the best she could at the guards. "Hello boys." She said, pulling off a flawless smile.

"On King Sky's orders we mustn't let anyone into the castle without his permission." One guard said, guessing dead on what she wanted.

Fire's face fell into a frown and she stared at the guard that had spoken as she moved forward. "Well go get his permission to let me in. Tell him that FreeFire of Firenote Kingdom is here, he knows who I am."

The guard shook his head and put his hands on her shoulders to stop her from trying to get closer to the gates. "Strict orders, M'lady. I can't let you in unless you're on the list." He said before ignoring her. [A/N Wait this is like a club now? Sweet I wanna go!]

"But thats not fair! I have to speak to the King. Just let me in please!" Fire begged. This was new to her, she wasn't used to having to beg for things. She was usually just allowed to go where she pleased because people got scared of her. But she knew things would be different around here. They were Sky Kingdo guards, they wasn't going to get scared so she had to play the innocent girl act.

"I'm sorry but no. Now scram kid." The guard said, giving her a shove and going back to ignoring her again.

"Fine. Be that way then." She huffed and stormed off. A lone creeper hissed behind her and quickly turned around, drawing her sword and stabbing it through the green explosive thing. She let out a sigh of relief before she had an idea, one that might just work this time.

Using her fire, she climbed the wall and soon enough, she was sat on top of it. To not attract attention, she jumped from the wall, landing on the opposite side of it, the side with the castle in. Surely once they knew she had been 'let inside the gates' they would let her into the castle as well. If not, she had a Plan B.

"Hello Boys." She said again, sauntering up to the two guards guarding the castle door. "I can just go through here right? That way I can see the King, to tell him what I so urgently need to tell him."

"No can do little girl. You shouldn't have been allowed in here, now go on, get lost." One guard said, making in clear that he didn't want to continue.

Fire stormed off around to the side of the castle, far away so that if any guards heard what was going on, she'd have time to act before they did. Grabbing a block out of her inventory, she placed the TNT in a 4x2 way so that it would be just enough to blow a hole in the wall of the castle, letting her enter.

Walking backwards, she lit her fists on fire and threw a fire ball at the TNT blocks, causing them to sizzle.

Dawn walked down the hallway. Maybe Wonder's up or something, or Jade would be a good person to bump into. I can always trust her judgment Dawn thought as she dragged her feet along the floor.

Just as she was about to turn back and head to bed, she heard a slight sizzling sound. Taking two more steps forward, she realized what that sound was. But it was too late. She stood there frozen as an explosion shook the castle and it's grounds. The force of the blow knocked Dawn into the wall on the opposite side of the wide hallway.

Fire she thought as she weakly spotted the girl standing there, a blank emotionless look on her face. Then the world went dark, and she accepted it generously, hoping to get out of her pain.
