Chapter 29- Shadows and Flames

"So I didn't get to say goodbye?" Wonder questioned. She had just found out from Deadlox that Fire had been sent to someone like her; not that he specified how they were like her.

"I'm afraid not. I didn't get to say goodbye either; So you're not alone" Deadlox said as Mitch, Wonder and himself wondered around the castle.

"But anyway, isn't it a bit creepy that you dreamed about us two without knowing what we looked like?" Wonder questioned as they entered a different hallway of the massive castle.

"Yeah well it's not something you tend to mention outloud" Mitch laughed akwardly. Deadlox turned to Wonder and smiled.

"Yeah not really" He added on looking back down at the floor.

Wonder looked at him and tapped his shoulder, getting his attention. "So what generally happened in your dreams?"

Deadlox bit his lip and thought about how he was going to put it. "Well umm..."

"I don't want no lies or suger coating Deadlox. The truth is what I need."

"Well Fire died... alot" He said.

Wonder looked at him, eyes wide. "Well that's sure something. You hate her that much?"

"N-no no it's not like that!" Deadlox said in refusal. "I don't hate her. I mean, sure she can be a handful- a big firey, frigid handful with a side of attitude."

Wonder smiled and nodded her head. "I understand where you're coming from."

"You do?"

"Yeah. It's cool I was only messing with you."

The three continued to chat as they walked around. That is untill they bumped into Seto and Jade. Quite literally.

"Ow. Where did you two come from?" Mitch questioned as he got up from the floor. He helped pull Wonder up and then Deadlox.

"Sorry Mitch, Wonder and Deadlox. We just teleported back" Jade smiled.

"That explains why we were sent flying" Deadlox said sorting out his hair.

"Where did you teleport from?" Wonder rubbed her head and slowly her eyes focused again.

"Oh we just got back from taking Fire to ShadowDragon" Seto said looking at them.

Fire sat, bored at the home of ShadowDragon. She kept flicking bits of her fire in the air and catching them in her mouth; A sort of game children would play.

"I take it you're bored" ShadowDragon said appearing next to Fire.

"However did you know?" Fire answered sarcasticly.

ShadowDragon sat down next to the fire wielder and smiled at her. "There's no need to be sarcastic. Because I'm the queen of sarcasm."

Fire looked at her and raised her eyes. "Really now?" She huffed. "Even if you are I'd probably be able to beat you in a fight."

"Challenge accepted."

"Wait what?!"

"Task 1- Challenge a fight. Make sure you know what you're up against and test how strong they are before you start training" Shadow grinned as she stood up. Her wings uncurled from her back and Fire was suprised to see they were relativly small/medium in size.

"Alright then ShadowDragon. Be prepared to loose." Fire got into a fighting stance and crouched down.

Fire charged towards where Shadow was standing only to see her fly up in the high roofed room. The room went completly pitch black and no matter what way she looked, Fire couldn't see.

Getting an idea, Fire lit up her body with flames and stood there glowing as she radiated heat and light.

A gasp came from the ceiling and Fire smirked. She obviously didn't notice her hands on fire earlier.

The heat getting hotter and hotter as the flames grew in size, Shadow dropped down and folded up her wings.

Pulling out a sword, Shadow charged towards the flaming person and slashed through the air as Fire dodged the hit.

Without having her own sword, she was at a disadvantage. Shooting multiple fire balls around the room, the room erupted in light and the darkness was no more.

As shadow stood in shock, She failed to noticed Fire running towards her and shooting a fire ball.

The fire was designed to not hurt Shadow, but merly to stun her. As it collided with her chest, it threw her to the floor and she surrendered.

Fire smirked and helped the Dragon Hybrid up. "Nice work Shadow Wielder."

FireNote Kingdom, whilst on the outside seemed as calm as normal, was in havoc.

The whole army's- Both Music Notes, FireFlys and the Firenotes- were in the meeting hall.

Pipgoesmiow, Yazdoesyoutube and EnderLillie stood up on the stage, grabbing everyone's attentions.

"Why cant we just go to Sky Kingdom and get our Leaders back?!" A voice yelled.

"Because it's not the time. Trust us they will return and when they do it shall be great. Then will we get our revenge on Sky Kingdom" Lillie yelled throwing her fist into the air.

"I agree with you." Jenna or otherwise known as Attackoncreepypasta said as she joined them on the stage.

"Jenna" Pip breathed. No one had seen her in a while as she accompanied her father on a trip to gather firewood from a few forests away.

"You're back" Lillie smiled.

Jenna nodded her head. "Yes and I have proof that they are okay. Trust us and continue on like normal" She yelled and slowly everyone agreed and left.

The four girls sank to the floor, tired from having to deal with the commotion and Jenna just being tired from her trip. As they caught up they didn't notice a dark presence slipping from the room.
