Chapter 41- Dawn!

Fire stood there in shock, staring through the hole in the castle she had made. "Shit Dawn!" She yelled suddenly and ran to her side. There was no blood but the girl was pushed up against the wall and the ground. "Dawn are you alright?" Fire questioned worriedly. She finally had the common sense to check her wrist for a pulse but she couldn't find one, no matter how hard she tried. She placed her hand over Dawn's heart and couldn't feel her heart beat. I killed her. Oh my god I killed her! She thought frantically as she started to try and resuscitate her by pressing over again where her heart was.

With no luck, Fire sat back on her knees and allowed tears to fall from her eyes. "What am I going to do? I killed Dawn..." She muttered to herself. The force of the blow was what had killed Dawn, throwing her against the wall causing internal bleeding and her heart to stop.

Three guards came running from their posts at the gates, having heard the explosion and going to investigate. "You again?!" One of them said. He then took in the surrounding area and saw Dawn laying on the floor, dead. "Seize her!" He shouted and they all climbed through the gap she had made in the wall. Two guards grabbed one of her arms each and held them so that she was caught. Fire being so shocked, she didn't put up a struggled as she was dragged backwards and to her feet.

"Go and alert the king and the other leaders!" One of the guards that was holding her captive shouted and the one who had free hands. He nodded and took off in a run, leaving Fire, the two guards and Dawn.

Tears ran down Fire's face for multiple different reasons. She had killed Dawn being the main reason. What's going to happen to me now?

After about five to ten minutes the guard came running back with King Sky and his friends behind him. The guard stood in front of Fire, blocking her from everyone's view.

"Dawn!" Sky called out and ran to his fiance's side. He dropped to his knees and checked her for a pulse, finding none and bursting into tears.

Wonder stood by Mitch's side and tried her hardest to not cry. She might have not none Dawn for the longest time but they were close friends. Something in the room felt wrong to Wonder and she looked up at Mitch and then at the floor, allowing a few tears to slip.

"Who did this?!" Sky yelled in anger "Who caused her to die?!" Deadlox went to his side and tried to comfort him and calm him down but it didn't work so he went back to where he was standing before.

"We have the culprit right here. Do you wish to know who they are?" The guard in front of Fire asked.

"Of course!" Sky muttered through gritted teeth as he tried to hold in his anger and grief.

The guard nodded his head and stepped to the side. Sky looked up from Dawn's body and looked at where the guard was previously stood. Being held by the arms, someone stood there slumped, their head facing the ground, purple hair hanging over their face.

One of the guards grabbed a chunk of the purple hair and pulled it backwards harshly, causing the culprit to let out a cry of pain. Sky's heart nearly stopped as he looked into the face of his own sister, FreeFire.

"You. You killed her!" Sky said as he stood up and walked over to Fire. The guard continued to hold her hair so she couldn't put her head back down. She blinked and opened her mouth to say something when she was cut off with a slap around the face.

Fire let out another cry of pain and caught Deadlox's attention and Wonder's. "Fire?" Deadlox asked. "How could you? Why did you kill her?"

Fire snapped out of her trance like state and shook her head frantically, earning herself another tug at her hair. "I didn't kill her! I didn't mean to! I just wanted to come back here and-" She cried out in pain as Sky grabbed her by her hair, ripped her from the guards grip and threw her onto the floor.

"I don't care what you say. You killed my fiancée! Why Fire?! I offered you a home here and you left only to return and kill Dawn?" Sky spat. "You're only playing the sorry act because you got caught."

"No- no that's not what happened. They... They wouldn't let me in the castle so I made my own way in. I blew the hole in the wall, I didn't know Dawn was behind It! How would I?" She defended herself as she laid on the floor.

Sky ignored her and looked at the guards. "Take her to the jail cells, make sure shes bound by the wrists in the strongest stuff we have. Then knock her out with water." The guards went and pulled her up again and dragged her away.

"No wait! Ty! Tell him I didn't mean it! I just wanted to come back to you all again!" Fire screamed as she was slowly dragged away down the corridor. "Ty Please!"

Deadlox didn't respond but watched on silently as the guards took Fire to the jail cells. He would visit her later, when everyone was calmed down. But he didn't understand why she didn't put up a fight.

"I'm going to go. I'm not good in situations like this" Deadlox said to Wonder and Mitch before walking off. He knew that Sky was his best friend and that he should be comforting him but he didn't feel right about the whole situation. He continued to walk off, not really caring where he was going- so long as it was far from the others and nearer to Fire.
