In Love With The Enemy

Chapter 46- Battle has begun

The battlefield was set, almost like a chess board was set waiting for the game to start.

Backup was here, the FireNotes standing infront of the Recruits of Sky Kingdom. If anyone was to go down, it wouldn't be King Sky. The dead army covered the sides.

The squids stood opposite them, quite a distance away, like they were waiting for someone to make the first move. So Sky Kingdom did.

Wonderstyle stepped forward, in front of everyone, moving from her position on the battlefield. "What are you here for?!" She called out to the Squids to try and get an answer.

The squids shuffled to the side and two girls walked through the gap they had made. "We're here for Sky Kingdom" Haslie yelled back at her.

"Well I never, HaslieScores, what are you doing here?" Wonder shouted, faking a shocked tone, as if she couldn't believe her eyes.

"I believe I just told you Water Freak!" Haslie smirked.

Wonderstyle growled and let herself be pulled back by her friends who were standing at the front, not to far behind her, Pipgoesmiow and EnderLillie.

"You can't have Sky Kingdom!" A recruit called from the midst of the group. Shouts of agreement rippled through the air, all coming from Sky's side.

Once the voices and cheers died down, the battlefield become quiet once more as the oppositions stared each other down, anticipating the other's next move.

"This isn't a chess game we're playing!" Wonder announced "Now that you know that you can't have Sky Kingdom, what are you going to do?"

"Well, Water Freak" NetherGreen started. Wonder growled at her, warning her. Nether paid no attention to the girls growl and started walking up and down the line of her army. "I can't go around blabbing my next move to the opposition now, can I? This is very much like a game of chess. But I guess if you won't give over the crown by choice..."

Wind blowed throughout the trees and King Sky already knew what she was going to say next.

"WE'LL HAVE TO TAKE IT BY FORCE!" She proclaimed.

Everyone watched as the squids drew their swords and pointed them in Sky Kingdoms direction.

"Well King Sky, we all know your in amoungst that crowd" Haslie sneered "Are you ready to hand over your crown and Kingdom yet?" She coaxed.

"HaslieScores" Sky acknowledged. "For how long have you been planning this?" He pushed his way to the front battle line, stopping when he reached Wonder's side.

"Longer then you would have expected" Haslie laughed, turning her back to Sky Kingdom.

"Those of my people!" She addressed the crowd that she looked upon. "It is time to get what we all want. The ultimate control of Minecraftia, it's ruling Kingdom, Sky Kingdom and all its sub-rulers. The time has come upon us where we shall take our stand and fight for what we want. The losses will be many, but those of you that die tonight, will be dying for the greater good. A greater force will be ruling from now on!" She raised her arms into the air as she finished yelling her speech. "And now," She spun back to face Sky. "The battle has begun."

A loud creepy laugh rippled through the clearing. "Not without me it hasn't" a voice declared and a cloud of smoke rose up into the air and the surroundings, making everybody cough and stare at the place the smoke originated from.

FreeFire sat locked up in her cell like usual. Her eyes darted back and forth the chains around her wrist and floor.

She could hear the cries of voices coming from outside of the castle, due to a vent in the ceiling that she could hear the voices echo through.

"Haslie's here. And so is NetherGreen? But she died" Fire mumbled to herself. "If only I could get out of here, find my bow and my sword. I'd be an asset to everybody. But what side would I fight for. World domination, or what I know is right to do?"

She sighed in defeat to herself. "Even if I was to get out, the water's made me weak. My powers would be so weak, I wouldn't have much use out there as a fire Wielder"

I can help. A voice echoed through her head. It sounded like her voice but a little bit different.

Who are you? Fire thought. She darted her eyes around to see if the voice really was inside of her head, or if someone was outside of her cell.

Well who are you? It echoed back. Fire looked up alarmed, was she a schizophrenic? Probably.

I'm me. Who are you?

I'm also you. Let me take over, it is time for me to run free again. I can help, well you can help. I'm just your other form, the voice at the back of your head.

Fire nodded her head and held her breath in anticipation. "Take over, I want to let my other form out" she muttered quietly.

Well you know what to say. Speak of the prophecy and your other form will be free again.

She knew what the voice in her head was on about and mentally prepared her words.

"I can feel the cold hand of death. And the end drawing near. I've seen the gods of men. And all of which they fear."

Very well done. A voice whispered through her head to her and Fire fell into a brief unconsciousness.
