Scar POV
I shoot up sitting, and shaking in a fear as the loud clap of lightning happens, I feel my breath pick up as I hug myself pressing my body into the wall, "why did I-I have to p-pick a I-island" I say in a trembling tone as I press my knees into my chest, I feel tears begin to gather as a large clap of lightening echos threw my cave, I jump in surprise and fall out of my bed, I let out a whimper as i usually left my tools near my bed, I stare at my bloody leg cut from my axe next to my bed.
I grip the wall and look around for my communicator, I limp towards my table and check who's awake, surprisingly Cub, I press the call button as another loud and large clap of lightning echos threw my cave, making me trip and fall backwards hurting my leg much worse, I let out a sharp help of pain, "scar?!" Cub worried voice echos threw the communicator, "I-I'm fine! I just fell!" I shout as I look at my cut on my leg which is much worse, I frown and let out a yelp of fear as another loud clap of lightning echos threw my cave, I pull myself under the table I had the communicator on, "I doubt you just fell, I'm coming over....." cub says then hangs up and I let out a soft whimper as I press myself into the wall.
"Scar?" Cub voice echos threw the cave as he walks in, "is...that blood?...scar! Where are you?!" He shouts, I let out a soft whimper in response, Cub spots me and comes over, "oh god scar....that looks bad..." Cub says as he picks me up, I go to protest but another clap of lightening makes me jump and cling to him tightly, he frowns as he places me on the bed and works on bandaging my leg, I whimper as he pulls the bandages tight, "your scared of lightning and thunder aren't you," Cub says as he sits on the edge of my bed, I nod embarrassed, I feel arms grab me and pull me into Cub lap, I blush horribly as I look up at him to see him moving where we are laying and I'm on his chest, "I'll be here all night for you. So there no need to fear it" Cub says, I blush worse but let out a defeated sigh and lay my head on his chest, I listen softly to his heart beat as I drift asleep.
