Hudson went in to wake Greer up for school and found her still curled up as best as she could with her casts.  Her non-casted arm was rested on their baby.  Hudson walked over to the bed and got next to her stomach and said, "Okay baby girl.  You and daddy need to have a conversation.  I hope you are getting used to these conversations because I love them.  I can't wait until they aren't so one sided.  I love you so much already, you have no idea.  I know I was a big jerk to your momma, but I am working to get better.  Today is going to be a big day for your mommy.  Make sure you are extra nice to her.  I'll make sure to get you whatever you are craving tonight.  There are mean people at school that don't say such nice things, but daddy is going to do everything he can to make sure that they don't bother you or your momma.  I want everyone to know just how important the two of you are to me."

Greer stretched and said, "It's cute and all, but you couldn't have let me sleep a little bit longer."

Hudson chuckled.  "I'm sorry.  I had to take the chance for some one on one time with my girl."

"I hate to break it to you, but you are not going to have any one on one time with your girl until she has exited my body.  You still have four months left for that."

"I'm sorry I woke you up."

"It's okay.  I need to be getting up and getting ready anyway."

"Do you need any help?"

"I'm kinda sore this morning.  Could you help me?"

"Sure.  What do you need?"

"I have an outfit laid out over there.  Could you bring it over?"

"Sure.  Do you need anything else?"

"I should be able to handle everything else.  I can't wait to get these stupid casts off, so that I can just be regular pregnant.  I don't know how I am going to get around school like this."

"Please let me help you today.  I'm want to make things easier.  You heard the doctor.  You still need to be on light duty.  You need to focus on getting to your classes and not trying to carry your backpack and stuff too."

"You are such a dad already."

"I have to get my practice somewhere."

Greer chuckled.  "Fine."

"Great!  I'm at your service."

"You are going to regret saying that."

"Anything for my baby momma."

"And you can not call me that ever again."

"Noted.  I'll get out of your way."  Hudson smiled and walked out of the room.

Greer, Hudson and Clara got to school.  As soon as Hudson parked he ran around his car to help Greer to her feet.  He put both of their backpacks on his shoulder and handed her the crutches.

He wrapped his arm around her waist and asked, "Are you okay?"

Greer sighed, "I'm as fine as I can be.  My leg and arm are killing me.  I really don't want to do this."

"I can take you back home."

"No.  I have to do this.  Four more months of this place.  I just have to get through four more months."

"And I will be there to make it better if at all possible."

"Thank you.  I appreciate it.  Can we get this over with?"

"Lets go.  You are going to rock today."

Clara told her, "I'm here if you need me.  I know I'm still not the greatest in your book, but I plan on doing everything that I can to prove that I'm not the wicked witch from the west."
