Hudson felt so proud to be taking Presley home.  He put Presley into her car seat and helped Greer into the backseat next to her.  He went around to the front seat and they took off.  He kept stealing glances in the rearview mirror.  He asked, "Is she okay?"

Greer chuckled.  "She is fine."

"Are you sure?  Do I need to pull over?"

"No!  You need to drive a little faster.  If you keep driving at this speed we will not get her home in time for her next feeding and that will be a problem."

"I'm sorry.  I just want to make sure that you are both safe."

"H, we are fine, I promise.  Everyone is waiting for us.  I want to take a shower.  I feel disgusting, but she is going to be wanting to be fed."

"Okay.  I'm driving.  I'm sorry."

"Stop it.  You are fine.  You are a dad.  This kind of thing happens.  You are doing everything to keep her safe."

"Thanks for the vote of confidence."

"Any time."

When they pulled in the driveway, Clara was at the car.  She helped Greer out while she got the bag. Hudson got the carseat and diaper bag.  Clara said, "Lets get inside.  Greer, I'll watch Presley so the  two of you can take a shower and a nap."

Greer said, "I do need a shower, but I can't nap.  She needs me."

"You will still be here.  I just want you to take a breather.  Aunt Clara is ready to spoil our sweet girl rotten and make things up to her momma.  I have to start somewhere."

"Thanks.  You are doing a good job."

They went in the house.

After showering Greer sat on the couch with Presley feeding.  Hudson sat next to her and kissed her head, "How are you doing, momma?"

"I'm good.  She is almost finished.  Then she will be ready for daddy to burp her."

"Great.  Our favorite bonding activity."

Greer shook her head and said, "You are such a weirdo.  I think she would love to nap with daddy on the couch.  I need to get some pictures of the two of you."

"Hey.  I need to get some pictures of the two of you."

Clara came in and said, "I need to get some pictures of the three of you.  I can't wait to show her off.  Everyone has been asking about her after she decided that graduation was a great time to start her way into the world.  She is going to love the attention."

Greer laughed.  "That terrifies me."  Clara snapped some pictures while Hudson and Greer were absorbed with giving their little girl love and attention.  Clara knew they were going to end up together and she was looking forward to it.  She couldn't wait to show them the pictures some day and tell them how she knew it was going to happen before they did.

Hudson said, "She going to get all the attention she could ever want.  She is so perfect.  I can't believe I had a part in her existence.  She is perfect and I can't wait to see what she grows up to be."

Grace and Ethan came in.  Grace said, "There is my sweet granddaughter.  I'm so glad you all are home.  I can't wait to watch her grow up."

Hudson told them all, "Greer got into college."

"That is great.  We are so proud of you!"

Greer said, "Thank you.  Hudson sent in the application.  I didn't know how I was going to be able to make it work."

"You have nothing to worry about.  We will help you both figure it out.  You know I'll babysit all the time.  The campus has a daycare, don't they?  You all have us to back you up whenever you need it."

Hudson said, "We both have a full ride and free childcare.  That is going to help alot, but I don't want Presley to only ever see the people at the daycare."

"That won't happen.  We will be there to take her on and the two of you will, too.  It's going to take some getting used to, but it will be fine."

"Thank you.  I'm glad you all are here."

"We always will, sweetheart."

The family sat and talked while passing Presley around.  Presley was one loved little girl, much like she had been expected to be.
