3rd person POV

Nikol walked into, a rather depressive Salvatore school. The only ones that were left were those who had no other place to go. The idea of not having a family in the latter part of the year gets to everyone eventually. Nikol just couldn't image what could have happened to a child that had to be enrolled over the break.

Hearing Landon call her name, Nikol walked over to him. An attractive looking boy stood next to him. The boy glanced around, taking in as much of his surroundings as possible.

"Hey, thanks for coming on such sort notice," Landon gave the girl a small hug. "Anyways this is Nick, he's a newly transitioned vampire. Nick this is Nikol Mikaelson, she'll show you around" Landon gestured the to the boy next to him. Nick stood hands in his pockets, utterly uninterested in this entire experience.

Nikol smiled at the baby vamp, extending her had she said, "Hi, I'm actually kinda still new here myself." Nikol giggled a little trying to get him to loosen up. The transition is hard enough, even harder when you have no one to relate to.

Nick took Nikol's hand, feeling that familiar course of energy that one gets when touching a magic object. "What are you?" He asked, narrowing his eyes. Nikol tilted her head. The vampire quickly corrected himself, "I mean that in the most inoffensive way possible."

"I know," Nikol laughed. "I'm a hybrid, my father is a vampire and my mother is witch. The shock you felt is my magic." Nick shook his head in response. The hybrid cleared her throat, "shall we?"

"Stefan's coming too, just running a bit late, he'll catch up with you later," Landon said, before excusing himself.

"So Yeah, if you need to know anything about any supernatural creature, this library should have it," Nikol digressed.

"What are these things?" Nick pointed to a glass case filled with magical objects. "Are those knifes? And rings?" The more he talked the more confused he grew, still trying to hide behind a bad boy type exterior.

Nikol laughed, "their daggers and day light rings." She lifted Nick's hand pointing to his ring, "like yours."

"What makes them so special?" Nick, licked his lips, inching closer to Nikol.

Nikol dropped the boys hand, clearing her throat she began, "Well these," She stepped around Nick, pointing to the set of Mikaelson rings. "Belonged to two of the original vampires."

"Niklaus, and Elijah," Nick paused for a moment, rereading the last name over in his head. "Mikaelson?"

Nikol smirked, "my uncle's."

"Your uncles are original vampires?" Skeptical Nick glanced back at the display case and back at Nikol.

Nikol smirked as she and Nick heard a voice from behind them, "that's not all, her fathers one too."

"And my aunt, and my other uncle, never meet him though, and my evil grandpa I guess. Although I never met him either." Nikol shrugged, nonchalantly. "Not as impressive as this guy though," Nikol wrapped an arm around Stefan's shoulders, patting his chest.

"Really?" Stefan raises an eyebrow, "because, I think being related to the original family is pretty impressive."

"Oh he's being modest, this Stefan Salvatore, Stefan, this is Nick," Nikol paused. "I never got your last name."

"Salvatore? As in the school?" Nick raised an eyebrow. He wasn't sure if they were telling the truth or just joking with new kid.

Stefan sighed, "Yeah, it's a long story." Nikol and Stefan peeled off one another. They couldn't afford any attention to be drawn to them.
