8 years later It's been 8 years and the twins are now 15 years old. Nikol has taken on many of her fathers attributes, she has many of his mannerisms, including his famous smirk. Although she doesn't have an accent like her father, much of her vocabulary comes from her father. Nikol is the apple of Kol's eye. Nikol inherited her fathers brown eyes, but her mother dark brown hair. She had a wild head of natural curly hair that cascaded down her shoulders. She was a big girl, at 5 foot 10 inches she intimidated many boys, but attracted them with her curves and out spoken personality. None of that really mattered because her father stuck to his word of no boys until the age of 1000. Nikol had her mothers heart, but her fathers temper, ego, and patience, or lack there of. Also, she had fair, pale skin that she liked to contrast with her love of the color black, including most infamous, her black leather jacket.
Nikol has since surpassed her parents expectations for her practice of magic. She was even at times more skilled that Henrik. Kelly has been right when she said that the twins would be more powerful than Hope and invincible. Herbs like vervain didn't harm them, although they had yet to unlock the blood lust of their vampire nature, most other attributes had been acquired, including compulsion.
Henrik was the spitting image of his father. He had his hair, height, and smile. Unlike Nikol though, he shared many of his mothers characteristics. He talked just like her and wasn't impulsive like his sister and father, but he always thought through every decision he made, never being rash. He didn't enjoy the thought that he one day would have to feed on people to survive. Like it was for his mother, the transition would be hard and painful and not without death. Although he looked like his dad he had his mother's bright blue eyes. Most girls melted at his feet. Henrik hated that, he didn't like thinking he had so much power over the female gender. He was noble like his Uncle, no one let him forget that. Henrik did inherit his father love of magic, both twins really. The amount of power between the two made them virtually unstoppable. Unlike Nikol he never allowed his ego to grow because of it. Most of the time Henrik spent balancing out Nikol, showing her a better path. Even with the eminence differences between the two, neither liked to be away from the other for too long.
