Back story-2. Gender*

It had been two months since Kelly had told the newlyweds that they were to revive twins in 7 months time.

Davina was now 4 months and had an appointment with Kelly tomorrow. She was frantically trying to find clothes that fit. Her stomach had grown bigger in the past two months.

"Uggggh," Davian grunted and sat down on the floor next to her closet.

"Darling, What are you doing on the floor?" Kol asked walking into the room.  He looked down at his flustered wife with intrigue.

"I'm fat," Davina pouted. None of her clothes were fitting right and it was beginning to get to her.

"Darling, your having twins. Your not fat." He chuckled and helped her up. "Besides do you what this means? Shopping." Kol cupped the side of her face.

Davina shook her head and laughed off the comment, "I'm not leaving the house."

"Yes, you are. We have an appointment with Kelly tomorrow and I hate to break it to you but you still have 5 months left and are going to grow a little more." He wrapped his arms around her from behind, cupping her slowly growing bump with both of his hands. "Besides since when do you not like shopping?"

That was when Davina finally caved, "Fine."

Davina was laying in bed looking through an old grimoire that She had, desperately trying to learn more about her pregnancy. Kol was laying with his head next to her bump whispering sweet nothings to the embryonic twins.

"What you think they are?" He asked suddenly. "Me, I hope there boys."

"I don't know, I guess I hadn't thought about it." To be honest She really hadn't. She had been more focused on trying to be a good mother. "I think girls would be nice."

"Absolutely not." He answered quickly, the thought of daughters terrified Kol, especially the idea of boyfriends.

Davina giggled "why not?"

"Because with girls, they want boyfriends and no daughter of mine will ever have a boyfriend. Never." Davina burst out laughing at his ridiculous overprotectiveness.

"Oh, come on. A girl having a boyfriend is natural." Davina said still laughing.

"Not till she's at least 1000," he said and rubbed Davina's bump with his thumb.

"Why 1000?" She questioned.

"Because if it took me 1000 years to find the love of my life, So will she." He kissed her bump, and smiling down at it.

"I love you too." She responded.

"I love you more." He replied.

The couple were in the car on the way to Kelly's house, full of anticipation. They had forgotten about the thrills that come along with being pregnant, it's not all just stretch pants and cravings. It's wonderful and exciting as well.

Upon arrival, Davian and Kol had huge grins on their faces, eagerly waiting to find out the sex of the twins.

"Hello sweethearts, are you ready you guys are going to find out so much about your twins today." Kelly said while opening the door. "Well lay down on the couch like before and we'll get started."

She examined Davina's physical characteristics, like the bump and nodded. Then she took her pendant again and swung it over her body. She shudder and her eyes widened.

"Who have you told about the children?" She asked hastily.

"No one why? What's wrong?" Kol asked standing up and blocking Davina's body slightly.
