READ AUTHORS NOTE AT THE END ITS VERY IMPORTANT!!!!

Seriously read it!

Waking up that next morning was blissful for everyone in the Mikealson family. Nikol woke up next to Stefan, Henrik next to Shelby. Although none of the adults in the house new if this, they themselves were too busy waking up next to each other.

Nikol and Stefan were the first up, but were otherwise engaged for a few hours.

Finally getting up, Stefan and Nikol entered the kitchen to see that others had also awoken.

Klaus and Caroline sat at the table, drinking coffee and playing footsies with one another.

Nikol pulled out one of the knifes from the butcher block and waved it in the air between the two, a puzzling look on her face.

Klaus huffed, becoming annoyed with her action, "Nikol what exactly are you doing?"

"Trying to cut the sextual tension," Nikol shrugged and studied the knife ironically. "It's not working. Weird." She put the knife back in the butcher block. Watching as Caroline's face got red and Klaus' lips curled into a smirk.

Stefan clucked his tongue, "now what would my mother say about this little sleepover Aunt Care?" A slight grin danced on his lips. Nikol handed him a cup of coffee, he smugly took a sip waiting for a reply.

"Stefan your mother opinion is the last thing I want to think about right now," Caroline scoffed and rolled her eyes. Nikol had begun to now understand just how judgmental Elena can be.

"I don't know about that love, she did accept out darling Nikol and Henrik with open arms," Klaus seemed unimpressed by Elena's potential wrath.

"They also didn't kill her," Caroline deadpanned.

Klaus seemed amused by her response, "you sacrifice one doppelgänger and one never hears the end of it." Nikol let out a stifled laugh, seeing as though Caroline didn't find Klaus' comment nearly as amusing.

"What's your next move to find Nicolette?" Caroline asked, quickly changing the subject.

"Oh the usual tricks," Klaus smirked. "Locator spell and some elbow grease should work."

Nikol shuddered a little, "it may not be that easy. The magic that her witches had access to was darker than any I have ever seen." Nikol took a deep breath, "darker and more powerful than even the magic that turned you into a vampire."

Klaus tensed up. Nikol raised an eyebrow. She hadn't know her uncle long, but knew that the great Niklaus Mikealson doesn't get frighten easily, if at all.

"If you'll excuse me for a moment, I need to find my brother we have much to discuss," Klaus got up trying desperately to hide the weary look on his face and sped from the room.

Nikol watched his actions, they seemed rushed and in hast, something that did not sit with with her. "Caroline?"

"Yeah."

"Have you ever seen that look in his eye?" Nikol held her cup closer.

Caroline has an uncertain look on her face, "no."

"Oh good," Nikol laughed sarcastically and held up her cup. "Merry Christmas!"

"I don't care if you don't want to go, we're going. They don't all hate you. Just some." Stefan had decided to drag Nikol to the old mill and hang out with some of the other witches.

"Sure they don't hate me. But that are highly jealous of me," Nikol point out. Dragging her feet and trying to hold Stefan back as he pulled her through the woods.
