Last night was absolutely amazing.
Nothing else happened besides our "make out session," but it was wonderful. We stayed up all night talking about each other. Our dreams, best memories, worst memories, family, and friends. Everything the other person could possibly know. Sometime during the early morning we had honesty hour were we just asked each other questions back and forth no matter how personal.
At times it got awkward, but we would both just laugh it off. Around five in morning both of our eyes started to get heavy, so we curled up trying to get comfy. Eventually, after getting into the position of my back against Shane's chest and his arms securely wrapped around my torso, we got to sleep.
I woke up with a groan, but as soon as I feel Shane's chest against my back a small smile formed on my lips. I turn over to look at him and brush a fallen hair off of his forehead. "Shane?" I say quietly. He groans and pulls me closer to him until it slightly hurts. I try to wiggle free, but each time I try to his grip gets stronger. "Ouch, Shane let go." His grip once again tightens. "Shane, let go your hurting me." His arms suddenly go limp and his eyes fly open. I take a sudden breath of air to refill my lungs. "Shit, I'm so sorry." He says panicked. I wince a little at my lack of breath and shake my head. "I'm fine." He sits up scooting closer to me and I sit up with him. "Bullshit." He rubs small circles on my ribs.
"How long did it take those bruises to go away?" He asks suddenly. I furrow my eyebrows, "The ones from Ash-" I start, but he interrupts me. "No, the ones from the dude that lives in your apartment." I sigh, "About a week and a half." He nods and is silent for a minute. "You've gotten hurt a lot lately." I shake my head not having anything to say. I look out the window as I start to remember the guy from my apartment building. I had been blocking it out for a really long time, but it's suddenly come rushing back. Shane cups my cheek and moves my head back to look at him. "Hey, he won't ever hurt you again. I swear I won't let him. OK?" I nod and lean against his hand. "I won't let anyone or anything ever hurt you again." He whispers putting his forehead on mine. I angle my face closer to his and quickly kiss him. "Love you." I say and smile slightly. "Love you, too."

After having breakfast Shane politely offers to drive me home, and I happily oblige. The car ride there is silent except a few small giggles escaping my mouth after being caught staring up at him. We finally make it to my apartment and we say our goodbyes.
I walk upstairs to my door and dig my key out of my purse. After finding them and opening the door I am tackled in a hug. I fall back slightly and laugh. "Hey, Athena." I say still laughing. "Just 'Hey'?!" She say stepping back and looking at me. "You had sex?" She says like it's obvious. My mouth falls open from here bluntness.
She smiles, "I can tell. Your practicality glowing." She says raising an eyebrow. "No!" I exclaim, "I, we did not have sex." I rub my face trying to stop the blush forming. "Yea whatever." She roles her eyes.
I groan stomping into the living room and plopping down on the coach. She sits beside me laughing, "I'm just kidding, Vi." I look at her as she gives me a big smile, "Kind of."
