Previously:
Can removed his other hand from her and before she knew it, Can had pulled her blouse over her head and dropped it on the ground next to their feet. Sanem looked down at her discarded shirt as Can's hands went back to her breasts over her bra and his lips latched onto her shoulder.

Sanem was breathing deeply. But she didn't like that she couldn't smell his usual scent. Just alcohol.

"Sanem..." Can trailed wet kisses across her shoulder to the base of her neck, "I want you so much." Can's hands drifted down to the button on her trousers. His fingers weren't as nimble in his drunken state as he attempted to unbutton her pants. Sanem looked down at his fumbling hands. He managed to unbutton them and pull down the zipper. She knew where this was going. And although she had planned on something similar with him this very evening. This is not what she expected or wanted.

Not like this. I don't want our first time to be like this. "Can." She said his name softly, but with conviction this time and gently placed her hands over his, "Stop."

His hands stilled instantly and she felt him release a breath on the back of her neck. She took a breath too and turned around in their embrace to face him. She brought his forehead down to meet hers, keeping her hands on his cheeks. But Can's arms hung loosely by his side. "I love you, Can. And I want you too. But not like this."

His eyes were closed and he swayed slightly on his feet. He gave a small nod and Sanem helped him the rest of the way to the bed.

He fell down onto the mattress, with one leg over the edge, and seemed to pass out. Sanem took off his shoes and picked up his leg to join the other. She pulled the blanket over him and kissed his forehead goodnight.

It smelt as though Can had alcohol oozing from his pores and Sanem hated the smell. It reminded her of that night at Galaxy. Dr. Sifa had warned her that smells could be a trigger, but she didn't feel scared now. All the same, Sanem decided to sleep in the guest room. She finished getting ready for bed. Changing into some of Can's clothes once again, her own pajamas still unworn in the drawer. She snuggled under the covers in the guest room bed and brought Can's shirt up to her nose as she fell asleep.

I'm running up the stairs as fast as I can. Flight after flight. I hear a familiar bang, and the sound of the metal around me clinking and clanging. I don't stop. I know what, or rather who, is behind me. The adrenaline in me helping spur me on. I hear the sound of heavy boots stomp on the metal steps below me. Getting closer and closer.

He's catching up.

I try to increase my speed, but my body is starting to feel heavy. My feet are beginning to feel like lead. I don't remember having to climb this many stairs before. I feel like I should be at the ground level by now. I don't stop or slow down to ponder this. I know what happens when he catches me.

Something else is different this time too. The sound of his feet have stopped. I just hear mine. I want to stop too. I'm so tired. And I want to see how far back he is.

I turn to head up another flight of stairs and I slam into something. I stumble back into the metal guard railing and it rattles behind me. Hands reach out and grab my upper arms. Stopping me from toppling over and falling down who knows how many stories.

I look up to see bright blue sinister eyes searing into mine. How did he get in front of me? This isn't how it happened...

The scar on his face lifts, as he smiles at my confused expression. He doesn't say anything. Just smiles and then pushes on my arms. The railing behind me breaks and I fall.
