Genji x Reader - The Pact

Chapter 5. Living with the Shimadas

You woke up, the sun tickled your nose. Well you didn't wake up naturally...you woke up because a maid pulled the blanket off your body.
You growled covering your eyes with your hand trying to sleep a little longer.

"Miss (Y/N), you need to wake up now. It's time to show you around the castle and do some chores!"
The maid said strictly.

Knowing you didn't had a choice, you got up yawning and stretching.

From that day on your daily routine was always the same.
You got up early, then cleaned the floors with some other maids, after that you prepared breakfast for the masters.
While the masters ate breakfast you got ready for school and packed your backpack.

When the masters were done eating breakfast some of the other maids helped them get ready.
Then you walked to school with the young masters Hanzo and Genji.
Well you somewhat walked with them...

At first you kept your distance to them, walking about ten meters behind them, you didn't talk to them, not at the castle and not in school.

But after some time Genji started to talk with you, you got to know him better and better until you became close friends with him.
After some time you felt like he was the only one you could talk to besides Kumo.
After walking to school and taking to Genji the whole way there you would split ways with the young masters going to your class.

After school you walked home with Genji and Hanzo, again only talking to Genji because Hanzo wasn't very talkative.
He always had that stern look on his face, and was very serious.
You just didn't like him. He made you uncomfortable and gave you an eerie feeling.

Arriving at the Shimada castle after school, the rest of your daily routine consisted of more cleaning until the evening, preparing dinner for the masters and eating dinner with the other maids and then doing your homework before going to bed.
Sometimes you cried yourself to sleep thinking back to the night were everything changed.

The seasons passed and the little girl you once were turned into a beautiful young women. Your (h/c) hair, was pretty long now so you alway tied it up with a ribbon that Genji had gifted you for one of your birthdays.
When you turned 16 the maids decided that you were old enough to be a personal servant of the young masters, meaning a new part of your daily routine was dressing and bathing the young masters.

At first it was really awkward for you, well it always stayed awkward for you being alone with Hanzo.
He was just always so silent as you bathed him.
You didn't dare to even look at any part of his naked body even though he told you that he was okay with it and that he was used to this since he was being bathed by maids since he was a little boy.

Genji was a different story. He always made jokes and made sure that you were comfortable. He had told you that you could just pretend to bathe him and that he would just do it himself instead, but you insisted on helping him.
You would never admit that you enjoyed bathing him. And well you were not the only one that enjoyed it.
You loved looking at Genjis body.
The young boy you once knew turned into a handsome man.
His body now was very muscular because of his daily training.

Slowly you noticed that he was more to you than just a friend. You fell in love with him.

You loved him more than anything else, you loved how he always made sure you were comfortable, how he always made you laugh and how he would do everything to protect you.
You often would climb the roof of the castle with him to watch the moon and the stars.
Everytime you got cold he would cuddle up to you and cover you with his jacket as if it would be a blanket.
Everytime you had a bit of free time you would go to the arcade with him, to beat highscores.

Everytime you were with him you forgot about the bad things that had happened to you. You just enjoyed his presence and thought about nothing else.

You will never forget the day he asked you for help, with dying his hair green.
You thought he looked quite handsome with green hair.
There were so many happy memories you had with Genji.

It took you some time until you came to the conclusion that you liked Genji more than just a friend. You noticed that you wanted to be more than just his maid or his friend.
You wished to be his girlfriend.

But little did you know that everything would change soon.
