You went back to the military base, packing up all your things. Stuffing everything in your bag, you made sure to not forget a single thing. Looking at the now empty room once again, you closed the door and locked the room. Now someone else cloud have it.

But there was still that little voice in your head that told you that what you were doing might be wrong. But your decision was made, you wanted to leave.
Liam was sad, but undestood your decision. He told you that would always keep a place open for you in case you wanted to return.
But you knew this wasnt the right place for you.

You wanted to be a Overwatch hero again, and help save the world from the new omnic crisis that was coming.

"I missed you so much (Y/N), Im so happy to have you back. I love you." Genji whispered into your ear so you could barely hear it.
You sat beside him in the airship, his hand tightly holding yours.
You looked up at him, in those beautiful brown eyes that you had missed so much. Genjis mask was taken off, his face just as handsome as you remembered it.

But you knew that this peace wouldnt last for very long. You still had a bone to pick with Sojourn, she really didnt tell the others that you were still alive. By the expressions of the others you could tell that they were happy to see you again, but were quite pissed at at Sojourn for not telling them. Especially Genji was very mad at her, but tried not to show it and instead just give you all of his attention, by kissing and hugging you non stop.

Arriving at the base was weird, but also felt like returning home.
Luckily Winston managed to repair your hearing aids quite quickly, so you could hear again.
You put all your bag into your old room that was still free. And to your surprise it still looked just like the day of the failed mission. The others never packed up your things, they just left everything at its place.
You started unpacking your things when suddenly the door opened and Genji stepped in.

"I was in here quite a lot before I left." He said closing the door behind him and looking around.
He sat down on the bed, brushing over the sheets with the palm of his hand.
"They still smelt like you. On that day...they still felt warm..." he said silently.
Tears slowly ran down his face.
"I thought I would never see you again (Y/N). I thought that I had lost you, the most important person in my live!" He cried out.

"Heyyy its ok, Im here now." You said to him in a calm voice, kneeling down in front of him so you could look into his face.
Lifting up his chin you stared into his tears filled eyes.
His face was red, his nose running and his eyebrows scrunched toghether, but he still looked handsome to you.
You brushed over his cheeks with your hands, feeling the scars scattered over his face. Hugging him tightly, he hugged back after just a two seconds, laying his head on your shoulder and crying onto you.

"I missed you so much!" You said, tears were also filling your eyes now.

"Im so sorry. I couldnt protect you once again..." he said pulling away, touching your arm and leg prostethics.
"I always wished for you to not end up like me..." he whispered.

"Hey Genji! I love myself just the way I am! And I also love you, no matter how you look." You said, cupping his red cheeks.

"I love you (Y/N), and I still think that you are....sexy."

His words made you smile, he was the one that you loved and you knew that he had changed for the better.

"You seem well Genji, so calm." You said, going through his black, soft hair with your fingers.
