Liam, the man that helped you when you were just ten. Your parents had died and you were searching for your uncle, and Liam helped you find him.

"To me it feels like it was just a few  years ago that you sat right in front of me searching for your uncle. You turned into a beautiful young woman (Y/N)." Liam said, sitting at his desk in his office.

You sat in front of him, on the same chair you already sat on when you were ten. Nothing had changed, the office still looked exactly the same.
But the war had left its marks on Liam. Scars were on his face, and his once brown hair now had some grey strands here and there.
You looked around, there was still the same photo of his family on the desk. His daughter must be an adult now.

"How have you been, I saw you on the Tv, you belonged to Overwatch?" Liam asked.

"Yes, but it didnt last very long...and now the era of Overwatch is over anyways..." you said looking down.

"It is sad that the people dont see that we need Overwatch...." he responded.

"Now its over...we cant change it anymore. The people made their decision." You said.

"But, why arent you with some of the members? Arent they like a family?" He asked.

"They think Im dead." You said cold.
"A few years ago a mission failed, the omnium kidnapped me once again, and Overwatch couldnt find me, so they declared me as missing and then as dead. I tried to find them, but I failed."

"Im sure Its not your fault (Y/N). What did you do all those years Overwatch wasnt there anymore?"  He asked.

"I worked...but it wasnt that legal..."

"Dont tell me you are that assasin killing all those people from the omium..." he said shocked.

"..." you didnt say anything.

"So its really you..."

"I wanted to stop after this month, its too dangerous alone." You said.

Then there was silence for a few minutes.

"(Y/N)...I never got to say how sorry I am about the loss of your uncle...he was a good man and soldier. He made this world  better place. " he said sincerely, after a while breaking the silence.

"Can I visit him?" You asked.

"Of course, I can bring you to his grave." Liam responded, getting up from his chair.

You stared down at the cold stone. The air was crisp and the blowing wind created a sad atmosphere. Tears rolled down your face.
'(Uncles Name), he did everything to make this world a better place and died as a hero.'was written on his gravestone.

"This crisis has alread cost too many lives...Im really sorry about your loss (Y/N), he was a really good man." He said looking down at the gravestone.

You were lost in your own thoughts for a while, nothing could be heard than the rain that was now pouring down on the two of you. And even though you got soaking wet, neither of you dared to suggest to go back to the main military building. You just stood there in the pouring rain that was hiding your tears.
You thought about how the others must have felt thinking that you were dead, but there was still a little bit of rage inside of you. How could it be that they didnt find you? Wasnt it a bit obvious that this mission was a trap of the omnium just so they could get their precious weapon back? Did they even really search for you?
You knew that those thoughts were mean and unfair, but still, they had promise you that something like this would never happen again, and there you were alone, without anyone after escaping from the omnium.
