Genji x Reader - The Pact

Chapter 7. Date night

You woke up the next day, and just couldn't stop smiling. Genji really confessed his feelings to you and had kissed you.
Everything felt like a dream to you.

No matter what you did you just couldn't stop smiling, wether you prepared breakfast for the masters or just cleaned the floor, you smiled like an idiot.
You were so happy that you totally forgot the fact that Genji mentioned that you were supposed to marry Hanzo.

"(Y/N)?" Genji asked, lightly tapping your shoulder to get your attention.

"Y-yes master Genji?!" You were quite surprised to see him.

"Uhhm please stop calling me master (Y/N), at least when we are alone. It always makes me feel like I'm...superior to you..."

"Ok, is that why you are here? To tell me that?"
You were confused about why he even came to see you.

"Uhhhm no....I-I wanted to ask wether you would like to spend some time with me this evening...you know like... a date...?" He said hesitantly, while blushing a lot.

"Of course! I would love to spend some time with you. What do you want to do?"
You were happy that he asked you out on a date and were already looking forward to it.

"I want it to be a surprise! I will pick you up at around 7, so be ready!"
He said before he quickly left trying to hide his blushing face, but you already saw that he was red like a tomato.

Until the afternoon you spend your time with cleaning around the castle and thinking about Genji.

What would he do with you?
Go to the Arcade and play games, or eat ramen at Rikimaru?
Or maybe go in the park to look at the stars while sitting under a sakura tree?
Whatever it may be, you were looking forward to it.

After you had finished all your chores around the castle it was time to get ready for the date.

You showered, washing your long
(h/c) hair while talking to Kumo.  Kumo always said that he wouldn't peek when you were changing or showering, but sometimes you saw him catching glimpses at you, and to be honest you didn't really mind.
You were already so close to Kumo that you didn't care about him seeing you naked, after all he slept in one bed with you, and sometimes when you were lonely you held Kumo in your arms and cuddled with him. 
His favourite form right now was being a cat,  he did everything in this form, you barely saw him change.

After drying your body you thought about what to wear, which was quite hard.  You only had your school uniform and the maid outfit that  you always wore while working. Besides that you had one basic outfit for the rare occasion of meeting class mates outside of school for projects.

'Oh man I have nothing to wear, I cant show up wearing my maid outfit...' you thought to yourself.

"(Y/N)? Are you there? I have something for you." Genji said knocking at the door.

You looked at yourself, making sure that you wouldn't flash Genji, since you were only wearing a towel.

"What is it Genji?" You asked confused opening the door. 

He was dressed in his favourite black hoodie and sweatpants, holding a big bag. By the strong smell of his colonge you could tell that he had already showered. Oh, how you loved the smell of his cologne...

"Here its for you!"
He said handing you the bag, before pulling you in a very close hug and whispering in your ear.
"I want you to wear this on our little date~ Also...please keep this a secret for now, I dont want Hanzo and dad to get angry."
He pulled away and planted a kiss on your cheek.

"By the way...you look damn hot wearing just a towel....~~"
he said trailing off, looking you up and down while having a lustfull  expression on his face. 

After Genji was gone you closed the door and looked at what was in the bag.
A (f/c) dress and matching shoes. It was long and elegant and had a big slit on one side. It matched the hairband that Genji gifted you years ago, that you wore to tie your hair up everyday since then.

You got dressed and looked at yourself in the mirror.

"Ahhhh, you grew up so fast, it feels like yesterday that I made a pact with you, and now you are a woman..." Kumo said faking wiping away a tear to look dramatic.

"Very funny Kumo..."

"But to be honest (Y/N)...You look more than beautiful. The little hurt girl I once met, turned into a goregous strong women!"  He said getting sentimental.

"Nawwww you're too sweet Kumo!"

"Anyway, you should go now..." he said.

"Wait YOU? Don't you always say we?"
You were confused cause Kumo always had stayed with you.

"I think it's better if youre alone with Genji. I promised to leave you privacy and I keep my promisses."
You just smiled at him before hearing Genji knock on the door to pick you up.

"Miss (Y/N)? May I take you on our date now?"
He said from outside the room.

Opening the door you greeted him with a tight hug.
"Nice to see you Genji..." you said, starting to look him up and down.

He had his green hair gelled back, and wore a black suit with green accents.
He looked more than handsome.

"Do you like what you see?~"
he asked with a smirk.

"Actually,  yeah...I think you look really handsome. "
you mumbled.

"Thank you (Y/N), you look very beautiful by the way..." he said looking at you. Well he basically stared...

"So what are we gonna do?" You asked excited.

"Well actually...I wanted to cook since you always prepare my breakfast and dinner..."
he said trailing off, out of embarrassement.

"But??" You asked.

"It all burned and I ordered your favourite Ramen..." he said looking away blushing.

"Nawww its ok, it's the thought that counts!"
You said taking Genjis hand to comfort him.

"Let's go!" He said holding your hand thightly, leading you to a nicely decorated table outside in the little park of the Shimada castle.

"Did you do all of this yourself?" You were amazed by how much work Genji put into it.
Everything around the table was lit up with fairy light and candles, but not too much so no one would notice.

You sat down at the table as Genji did the same, starting to eat you enjoyed your meal. Genji really knew you well he ordered your favourite type of ramen from your favourite place, Rikimaru.

Genji and you talked a lot, for all you knew it was hours of talking.
You got closer to him, getting to know him a lot better.
His mother died when he was young, making his brother the only one that was really there for him since his father led the clan.
But since Hanzo is meant to be the new leader of the clan, he changed, got cold and silent. Genji often felt alone, trying to forget about his feelings by being a playboy and hooking up with girls.
He told you that you were the only one that made him feel safe and comfortable in a very long time.
He started to truly feel loved again. Genji confessed to you that he loved being held in your arms or just being touched by you, that was also one of the reasons why he still demanded you to bathe him.

Genji made you laugh and cry, but most importantly, he made you feel safe. He had promised you that he would always protect you, and that he would never let anyone hurt you.

"How are you gonna protect me?" You asked, not shure if he could really protect you.

"(Y/N)...you watch me train almost everyday, you should know that I'm basically a ninja by now and can fight with a sword. If anyone can protect you, its me!" He said out proud.

If only that would have been true...
