Meggy x Tari One-Shot Collection

"TARI!!"

Meggy panics as she looks down into the moat on the castle. Wide eyes, shocked expression. She could barely hold herself together. "M-Mario..." Meggy whispers.

Mario slurped his spaghetti, barely using the fork, nomming all of it as fast as he could. After a few minutes, his face was in direct contact with the spaghetti, the noodles and his face smothered against each other. He could barely hear his friend.

"MARIO!" Meggy yells, tears leaking from her eyes and soaking the stone below her.

Mario heard his friend and slowly walked outside, annoyed she had called him at such an 'important' time. When Mario saw the sheer panic on her face, he knew this was too urgent to worry about some noodles.

Mario ran over to Meggy, looking down the castle bridge. "...oh-a shit.." he whispers.
"OH SHIT INDEED." Meggy screams, panicking. "What do we do!? I can't swim!? Your too fat to swim!!"
Mario was about to correct her, but sighed, knowing now was not the time. "Why-a not-a...uh..I rope-a you out-a there-a?"

Meggy froze and slowly looked at Mario, smiling slowly. "Yeah, yeah, let's go with that!"
"Oh-a shit...she's-a crazy enough to trust-a me..." Mario gulps, running to grab the rope.

Meggy runs to the slope edge, gulping. She only swam once, but this situation was too pressuring for it to come back much.
Once Mario had come back with the rope, Meggy ripped it from his hands. She tied it to him, pushing him down the slope.
He splashed into the water, but was too heavy to be moved by it.

Meggy immediately dived into the water. No preparation, no deep breathe, nothing.
"Damn that must've been one pu-" Mario began, only for Meggy to splash water in his face. She would not take a joke right now.

Meggy struggled, but nothing to her felt worse than the idea of losing her. Nothing.
She drew closer, seeing the blue of her once joyful friend.
But once she learned she was quiet, she rushed quickly, realizing she was unconscious.

As Meggy swam back, she noticed it was harder now that she had the weight of two bodies on her. She then looked at Mario and saw the door on the side of the castle.
She untied the rope off herself, Mario barely noticing. Meggy swam through, opening the door.

She crawled inside the undrained part of the castle, going up for air. She dragged herself to the edge of the room, going onto the dry platform. Meggy rested her blue friend on the ground, kneeling beside her.
"Im so sorry, Tari..." Meggy pushes her fingers on Tari's neck. "...well, at least there's a heartbeat...and your breathing..."
She suddenly yanks away, looking at her red finger. An electric shock.

Meggy froze with fear, slowly looking at Tari's arm and screaming. "OH SHIT!" She yells, looking around. Meggy panickingly looks around.
She opens Tari's arm with her nails, looking inside to see water stuck inside. Thankfully none got inside the wires, but she had to stop it before it did.

Meggy looks around for anything absorbent. She reaches into her pockets. Nothing. Tari's pockets, nothing. Nothing. Nothing. N o t h i n g.

Meggy freaks out, realizing her second shirt wasn't wet. She gulps. It was embarrassing to be in a bra, let alone in front of your crush.
Meggy took off her first shirt. She pulled off her second shirt, the dark one with long sleeves. She rung out the sleeves, stuffing the shirt inside her arm. Finally the water started clearing up. Meggy leans back in relief, sighing.

Meggy heard some light grunting, and the sneezing of water. She looks down, seeing Tari daze back into reality.

Tari looks at Meggy slowly "Wh..where the hell am I...?" she looked around, having no recollection of how or why she was there. "Why is there a shirt in my arm...? Why are you in your bra..?"
Meggy didn't bother to answer any of her questions. She immediately hugs her friend, squeezing any remaining water right out of her.
Tari, to the best of her ability, lifts her arms and hugs Meggy back.
"Tari...I thought I would lose you...so before any shit like this goes down again..." Meggy holds her hand. "I...I love you...im bisexual and I wanna be with you..."
Tari looks at her friend, slowly pulling her hand away. Meggy slowly lowers her head, only to be brought right back up. Tari kissed Meggy, smiling.
"As I was...'dying', the only thing I thought was...Meggy's gonna have to go on without me..." Tari smiles gently at her friend. "But...now she has to go on with me..."
Meggy grinned wide, closing Tari's arm, leaving the shirt in there for a little bit to soak it all. She lifts up her new girlfriend bridal style, cheering through the castle walls. "LOVE HAS BEEN SPLATTED!!"

Mario heard through the walls, it was that loud. He smiles gently, sighing. "Some-a times i-a wonder if im the one-a who needs-a counseling around-a here..." he jokes.
