Species Doesn't Matter

Meggy stood in front of the door, inhaling and exhaling repeatedly. She reached down and strokes her fingers through her new luscious hair, trying to gain the heart to tell Tari about her change.
Tari had only thought it was for the episode, and that Meggy would go back to normal.
"Alright Meggy...c'mon...she has to know...can't hide it forever..."
Meggy slowly reaches her human hand to the doorbell. She slowly presses the button, listening to the doorbell, which was coded in a way to play the classic Mario song.
Meggy slowly walks back, taking off her beanie nervously.
Meggy watches a familiar woman open the door. The gorgeous locks of short blue hair flows out as she looks down, her bright pink cheeks shining in the sun's glow.
"Oh hello there! Meggy...?" Tari looked confused. "You know recording is done...yeah?"
"I-I-I Know...." Meggy shrugs "its just...im gonna be like this...forever...."
"....." Tari starts laughing, leaning back. "Meggy, Meggy, I've seen the animes, I know how this goes!"
"I-Im being serious...Tari..." Meggy sighs, holding Tari's hand.
"...oh...uh...well..." Tari smiles, wiping her tears. "Guess im saying goodbye to your adorable tentacles."
"What.....? Your not...mad or...upset?" Meggy looked confused, expecting her to make it a much bigger deal.
"Meggy, it doesn't matter what you are...its who you are." Tari smiles, reaching down and kissing Meggy.
Meggy looked surprised, but kissed the fair cyborg maiden back, growing a faint smile of joy..
"Tari...can we watch Boku No Hero together...?" Meggy smiles.
"Of course we can..." Tari whispers, holding Meggy's hand and bringing her inside.

I swear to gOd im not friccing dead. Though thanks to MrMatrix987 for the verbal support, I got off my lazy ass and finished this chapter.
