Meggy x Tari One-Shot Collection

Surprise

Meggy looked at the tiny yellow ball in her hand. She smiles and gently pets the ball of yellow, a tiny pair of eyes and a small beak popping out.
Meggy grins at the tiny creature in her hand. She knew Tari would love it, she's a huge fan of them... Their fluffy yellow feathers, innocent little faces, the way they waddle when they walk... Meggy could see now why Tari adored them so obsessively..
The small little creature got up slowly, its legs thin, almost chicken-like. Meggy didn't know how duck growth worked, so she assumed it would grow overtime.
"You know, the second Tari sees you, she'll marry me. You know how much she loves duckies..." Meggy giggles "Then after that we'll be Mrs. and Mrs. Spletzer with our little duckie!"
The duckling just looked around at its surroundings, observing everything except what Meggy was saying to it.
"I know you can't understand me...but you have to understand how much this woman means to me..." Meggy sighs "She's my angel of gaming...the girl who can give me everything and more, oh there's nothing like a sweet cyborg chick...for me...~"
Meggy purrs, her cheeks flushing a red. She started imagining her and Tari, dressed beautifully on a boat, Meggy rowing while Tari sits on her lap, dipping her feet into the water and feeling the tides..
The scene was gorgeous, and it looped between the two rowing and relaxing and the two stopping to kiss.

Meggy snaps out of her dream when the duckling suddenly quacks.
It looked at Meggy and quacked. Repeatedly.
Meggy looked confused, realizing the duck was probably hungry...
Tari always told Meggy never to feed a duck bread..it clogs their bowels, she says. Meggy was now in a dilemma...what do ducks eat? She couldn't call Tari...it would be too obvious...
Meggy tried to think, and then grabbed a tiny box of berries from the fridge "Ducks eat berries, yeah? We can share."
Meggy sat down, placing the duckling down on ground level.
She opens the tiny box, letting the duckling chow down.
Meggy too began munching on a few berries.
"I do wonder when Tari will get home...she's been gone all morning and im missing her....I can't keep you cooped up next to me for too long too.." Meggy sighs, looking at the duckling.

Tari looks at Axol with a bright smile, standing beside him. She was talking to him. He was sitting at his titular desk, holding a half sized body pillow. "It should dry by the time you make it home.."
Tari leans into Axol and hugs him tightly "thank you Axol!" she squeals, making him blush as his gills drooped. "A little personal space, Tar, but no problem.."
Tari grabs the small pillow, nodding "its gorgeous! Meggy will love it! How can I repay you?"
"Nothing, really...though if you do happen to see a female axolotl...uh....be a wingwoman" He tries to do a half serious half sarcastic joke.
Tari nods "will do! Don't you worry Axol!"
Axol nods, watching Tari leave for her journey back home

Back at home, the berries were still being eaten as Meggy was talking to the duckling.
"Oh and did I mention she's gorgeous?" Meggy asks the duckling, watching it stare at her, not understand a single word she said.
"Everything about her makes multiple parts of me rise...I can feel my heart warming up..." Meggy whispers "it feels amazing..."
The duckling ate the last berry. Meggy threw out the plastic box.
"You'll see how beautiful she is when you meet her..."

Meggy hears a knock at the door, picking up the duckling. She hid it behind her hair. Miraculously, the duck stayed silent.
A familiar voice slowly walked in, asking "is anyone home?"
"Welcome back, Miss CyboTori..." Meggy grins, holding both her hands.
Tari blushes at the sudden affection, dropping her pillow by the door. Meggy spun her girl into her arms and smiles "Happy Valentines Day, sweetie...I got you something special.."
Tari looked excited, looking around for something to see.
Meggy lifts her hair, the duckling quacking and crawling out. "His name is Archibald!"
Tari gasps and immediately hugs Meggy. She squeezes her before separating.
Tari gently holds the baby creature, smiling and gawking at it. "Its so cute!!"
"I knew you would love it.." Meggy smiles.
Tari reaches down and hands Meggy her gift, still giving plenty of attention to the duckling.
The orange haired girl looked down at the pillow, seeing a hand drawn anime portrait of her and Tari kissing under a mistletoe.
Meggy grins, smiling. She didn't want to use this for sleeping and end up ruining the image.
Meggy slowly looks at the duckling that Tari was still playing with.
"I got an idea.."

Meggy and Tari kissed each other in the illumination of the TV light. The two were inseparable this day, you could not take one away from another.
And over on the other side of the cough, the new, alive Archibald was curled back into a fluffy ball of yellow fluff, falling asleep on the pillow while its mothers have a little bit of their own fun.

Hi this was the Valentines Day special. Love, support, gifts, all that. Sorry its so late, I was doing a million other things for the V day such as drawing Lapis x Peridot, designing valentines cards, and all that.
