Chapter 3 Part 1 Healing and Possible Revenge

Zarola walks over to Ace and helps him up with a sweet smile on her face steadying him on his feet when he starts to stumble a bit. Ace gets his footing right and stands straight still holding his wounded stomach and smiles lightly, "um thanks for the help but, I should probably go get myself fixed up", he says standing on his own and heading back towards the reaper HQ. Despite his injuries and slight stumbling he manages to get back to the HQ in one piece as he thinks the whole way there on how to get back at the blonde female and if that is honestly the best idea seeming as she doesn't like getting pushed around and doesn't pull punches no matter who or what gender the person is. His mind wonders more as to what she actually is for a female she seems extremely powerful though she's still really young. Ace furthers his thoughts starting when he first met the blonde beauty just yesterday actually.
Ace walks into the HQ and everyone turns their heads to the male with wide eyes and he can hear people yelling to help him while others yell for Phantom. Ace gets help to the infirmary and takes off his bloody shirt and lets the nurse take care of his wounds as she asks him 'What happened' he thinks of how to respond but as before only gets a chance to open his mouth like before but instead of getting hit he hears the door slam and sees a worried Phantom at the door panting before catching her breath. She takes a moment before opening her mouth and yelling, "What happened?!". Ace sits there for a moment contemplating on telling her or coming up with a lie until he sees the seriousness written all over her face and gulps. He gives her a small smile and hopes she doesn't take her anger out on him if she gets to the point of anger that is which is at a high risk once the words fall out of his mouth.
He calmly looks at her and opens his mouth yet again not realizing that he closed it and explains what happened, "Well I uh...I ran into a Huntress and devil angel by the names of Zarola and Darien.....", he pauses and she nods for him to continue. He takes a breath before continuing, "I was looking for...", he pauses yet again before hearing her speak, "You were looking for?", she pressed on. He takes a deep breath and quickly says, "IwaslookingforKalitoseeifshecouldhelpmetrain", he says quickly but to his luck she asks him to repeat what he said, taking a deep breath and sighing to calm himself down he repeats, "I was looking for Kali to see if she could help me train..." , I said in as much of a normal voice as possible which I only got stares from the two girls. The nurse however quickly went back to bandaging my wounds as blood started dripping out of them again. He huffs as he listens to Phantom scold him about picking fights with the devils especially one consisting of multiple powers, she then thinks for a moment and sighs and says in a calm mellow tone but also stern so he knows she's serious, "Listen Ace, Kali is not the only person you should look out for....you see Kali is as you could say royalty, she is considered a princess, but she has older siblings and a younger one.....", she states still being serious noticing him open his mouth she stops him, "She has a younger sister, 3 older brothers and 3 older sisters", she says as he just stares at her dumbfounded. He then starts to think of getting back at her but he'll need to heal first as he continues to think he notices the nurse finish with his wounds before letting him put his shirt back on, he stands up and smiles at her and heads out of the room, "thanks for the tip, I'll keep an eye out", he says before disappearing down the hall. 
As Ace makes his way down the hall he bumps into a female having a conversation with a blonde male, he gasps and faces them, "I'm sorry for bumping into your girlfriend sir!", He quickly apologizes and notices a smile on their faces as the blonde speaks up, "It fine and she's not my girlfriend just a friend of mine", He says reassuring the male as the girl nods in agreement. Ace feeling relieved he's not going to die today sighs and smiles, "Thank god". The girl seems to notice his wounds and suddenly has a concerned look on her face, "Sir are you alright what happened?", She asks worriedly. Ace smiles at her concern but waves it off, "I'm fine just an accident with one of the devils daughters, Kali if I can remember correctly", both the blonde and females eyes widen a bit but the male seems to brush it off rather quickly until he hears the female call his name, "Hey Thorn I think he's talking about your sister....maybe we should go look for her to see why she attacked him?", she questions as she looks up at said blonde. Thorn takes a moment before what she says registers in his head and he turns his attention down to the beautiful girl in front of him.
He takes a moment to find the right words so she doesn't just drag him to find his sister like she does when dragging him around town or the HQ, he looks at her closely before closing his eyes and letting out a small sigh, "If I say no you'll just drag me along like usual so let's just go", he says before leading the two out of the HQ. As Ace walks with the two he tries thinking of a possible plan to get back at Kali for the injuries although fighting with these injuries is a stupid idea maybe he'd be better off just talking to her about the situation and get back at her later when she least expects it. He then thinks about how much pain he's in surprised he can still walk but knows it's not really a good idea. His attention turns to the two in front of him the male as he learned to be Thorn that he soon found out to be one of the brothers Phantom told him about, he then turns his attention to the girl who had said the males name yet not introducing herself so he just assumes he'll find out soon enough. As the 3 of them continued their journey Ace was tempted to ask the blonde male about his blind sister but doesn't want to get killed today so he pushes that thought aside as he hears the two start talking and a name come out of the males mouth that he had yet to hear till now.
Thorn could sense his sisters presence as they approached a clearing he opened his mouth to talk to the female next to him, "Hey, Flare you sense her magic power to don't you?", he asks said female as she looks ahead and focuses her power on her surroundings, "Yes, I can, but I'd be careful theirs a lot of magical power this way she may have gotten into trouble again", Flare states as she follows him at his pace. The 3 continue to walk until they find Kali standing next to a hooded male who seems to be dead, he seems to be wearing black jeans, blue t-shirt and some black and blue converse under his cloak, looking closer they notice that the male had blonde hair and violet eyes and the magic power seemed to be coming off of him, not realizing who he is Ace was going to question it but Thorn started talking to his sister so he shuts his mouth and listens, "Hey sis I didn't expect one of the oldest beings of this world to be here", He says as he walks up to her and smiles, Kali hearing his voice turns her attention to her older brother and smiles as the blonde turns his head as well to look at the 3. Kali wanting to know why her brother, friend and the new guy were there opens her mouth to speak, "Hey Thorn he was just asking me a favor, was there something I can help you with?", she smiles up at him. Thorn smiles back at her and nods, "Actually yes, I'm sure you remember the new guy here?", he asks motioning to Ace. Kali looks at Ace and purse her lips before making a flat line with them before responding, "Yeah what about him?", she tilts her head with a smile as the others watch quietly. Thorn smiles but becomes serious, "Listen, Kali you need to stop beating up the new people your going to drive Phantom insane", he says with a sigh. Kali just stares at him surprised before sending a deadly glare towards Ace making the male tense a bit. Thorn continues to stare at her waiting for an answer, "Kali don't make me take this to Seth", Kali finally sighs in defeat and agrees, "Fine I'll leave you alone just don't piss me off, got it?", she says narrowing her eyes at him. Ace quickly nods not wanting to get more injuries, just thinking about them makes him mentally wince. Thorn nods in approval and leaves with the two and goes back to HQ with Flare while Ace goes home to heal and possibly think of a way to get back at her. Ace gets home and unlocks the door going inside he shuts and locks it and heads for his bedroom and grabs a towel and looks in the mirror at his injured form before he walks to the bathroom setting his things down shutting the door and turning on the shower he strips and undoes the bloody bandages and throws them away before climbing in feeling the hot water wash away the drying blood and sighs in relief as he starts cleaning the blood off his skin, once done he shampoos his hair and cleans it before rinsing, finally he lets the water hit his skin and wounds to relax them before shutting the water off and getting out and drying off he gets dressed and re-bandages his wounds before going to the kitchen to make himself lunch.
     He starts thinking about how long it'll take for his wounds to heal as he searches the cupboards and pulls out some bread, setting it down he goes to the fridge taking out baloney and cheese and mustard and grabs a plate making baloney and cheese sandwiches, he then sits down and starts eating his food quietly thinking to himself about getting back at the female and if it honestly would be the wise choice considering her brother just got them to be civil, at least for now that is. Ace continues to contemplate on the situation and figures the best thing to do at the moment is let himself heal and rest, maybe he can go look around town tomorrow depending on how much pain he's in. He finally decides to finish up his food and do the dishes before heading to his room. He removes his shirt with a sigh and sets it aside before rubbing his face and contemplating on what to do now. Going out now would be a stupid choice especially if some idiot picked a fight with him. Maybe he could lay down and rest for a bit and let his body at least relax more then go outside for some fresh air and enjoy the evening. He lays down with a satisfied sigh and closes his eyes as his body relaxes more and he can feel himself drifting off until he hears a sudden knock at his door. Ace just lays there planning on just ignoring in until another knock is heard. He sighs and abruptly gets up and walks out of his room and down the stairs to the door, opening it he sees someone he'd least expect to be at his door.
