Chapter 10 A Lucky Day

Ace sits at home thinking of a way to ask the blonde a question that's been bugging him but first he needs to set up a date and it needs to go somewhat perfectly. He paces around thinking about how he's going to do. Ace sighs thinking of a good plan though it's probably not a full proof plan he goes with it anyway. Ace grabs his keys and leaves his house and heads for the blondes house. He walks through the forest to the blondes house and calmly knocks on the door. Kali walks to her door hearing the knock and slowly opens it to reveal the male. She gently smiles as he asks "Are you ready?", she nods and responds, "Yes I am", she takes his offered hand after locking the door. They walk together through the forest heading for the town that was fixed using magic. He smiles and walks around the town with her before he takes her to an open area filled with flowers, a fountain, some trees and some birds and other tiny creatures. Kali smiles hearing the animals and walks around spinning. Ace watches her with a smile and follows her. She lets out a small laugh as she dances around, Ace gently grabs her hand and twirls her around before placing his other hand on her hip. The dance to the chirp and singing of the birds as the move gracefully around the fountain. Ace smiles as he puts his plan in his head before shaking it away and just decides to ask his question, "Hey Kali?", he says with a smile as she turns her gaze to him, "Yes Ace?", she asks sweetly making his heart skip a beat and he smiles down at her, "I have something important to ask you", he says calmly while she continues to smile at him, "Ask me anything Ace", she says a sweet tone. He smiles at the sweetness in her voice before asking while twirling her, "Well Kali I wanted to know if you'd be my girlfriend?", he asks with a bright smile on his face. Though she can't see it she can hear the happiness in his voice when he asks her that question and she wraps her arms around his neck, "Of course I will you dolt!!", she says while giggling, he hugs her back before kissing her, she returns the kiss before remembering something and pulls away, "Well yes as long as your ok that I sorta adopted Dante", she smiles up at him, he stares at her with a smile and hugs her, "Of course, I'm happy to be a father to him, he seems like a good kid to me now that his parents aren't here to be assholes", he smiles before he separates himself from her and gently takes her hand and heads back to her home.
Once at her home she unlocks the door and walks into the seemingly empty house before hearing the male ask, "You left him home alone?", she quickly looks at him and responds, "Of course not! How stupid do you think I am?", she remarks and smirks sensing the tension from him before responding, "Wolves" before walking away to check on the boy. Ace stands there confused before walking in and shutting the door behind him only to turn around to see a black and blue wolf and his eyes widen before realization hits him, 'she actually has a wolf?!' Although his thoughts are cut after that seeing 3 more walk out from different places and they all sit and stare at him. Ace suddenly feels self cautious about the situation that he's in but sighs in relief hearing the blonde come back with the small child, "Sorry it took me a few minutes to wake him up, you can come in they won't hurt you", she says in her sweet tone although he's not to sure about that as he makes his way to the other 2 and looks at the young boy. Dante looks up at him and asks, "Mommy what is he doing here?", she smiles before responding, "He's your new daddy dear his name is Ace", Dante's face brightens up hearing that and reaches for Ace who picks him up with a smile, "Hey kiddo how's it going?", he asks and Dante responds in the same tone as before, "Good!! I got a new family!!", Ace chuckles at the boy, "I guess you can add me to your family as well", Dante gets a big grin on his face before pointing at him, "Are you my new daddy?!", he asks excitedly. Ace smiles and nods as the boy hugs him tight and he hugs back while Kali 'watches' with a smile on her face before heading to the kitchen to make the 3 of them some lunch. They eat and play games fore the day and laugh as the day goes by they notice the sky getting darker and Kali gets up looking at the time as her eyes turn to an ocean blue, seeing its still a bit early.
Kali stands up going to the kitchen to check the time only to come back to find her two boys sleeping on the couch and she smiles at the scene before her, she walks away and comes back with a camera and takes a picture of the two before putting the camera away and walking over to the two covering them up and kissing each of their foreheads before heading for the stairs, shutting off the lights and goes upstairs to her bedroom. Kali smiles at her life now and her little family before changing for bed and climbing under her blankets, she gets comfortable before shutting off her light and curls up under the blankets and slowly closing her eyes and falling asleep.

Meanwhile with Ace

Ace feels something being put over him and his son before hearing footsteps walk away and come back before hearing a snap of a camera, he then hears the person set down the camera and walk away, hearing the click of a switch and the climbing of stairs he knows it's the blonde, he slowly opens his eyes and slowly sits up as to not wake up Dante he sets aside the blanket and carefully picks up the boy and carries him upstairs and to the bedroom. He walks into the bedroom and to the bed, carefully moving the sheets he places their son in the middle of the bed before stripping and sliding into bed on the opposite side and makes sure all 3 of them are covered up and he looks at the blonde who softly smiles in her sleep, he lets a small smile spread across his lips seeing the sight of his sleeping girlfriend and their son before slowly closing his eyes and falling asleep not being able to wait until the next day, his first day as a father. Ace and Kali turn their bodies so they can each gently rest a protective arm over their son before everything goes quiet.
