Chapter 18 Graduation and Marriage

Week Before Graduation

Seth and Thorn walk to school chatting and very happy they'll be graduating soon. Seth tells his twin brother about his plans for after graduation, how he's planning on proposing to Lavender and asking her to marry him. Thorn smiles and congratulates his brother although he remembers those times his brother made him embarrass himself just for attention although he can't blame his brother considering their situation since birth and an even bigger situation a few years after.Thorn looks over at his brother, "Why don't you just plain out ask her? I mean it's not like she's going to say no she's been attached to you since day one and has not left your side, she threatens any girl that goes near you and vise versa with guys going near her and you threatening them...you two are practically made for each other", he says in a bored tone. Seth sighs knowing his brother is right on this point and his head perks up, "Hey could you-", Seth starts but gets denied as quick as he started talking, "No", he says. Seth just stares at him surprised, "I was just going to ask if you can help me find a suit that I could wear to dinner", he says and Thorn raises a brow and shakes his head, "Wearing a suit will overdo it just wear a nice plaid shirt or something like that and a pair of jeans", he says while shrugging before hearing his name being called by a feminine voice, he looks over seeing a beautiful girl with long scarlet red hair and gorgeous golden eyes and he smiles at her. Seth looks over before looking at his brother, "That's it! You can ask Flare to go to dinner with you at the same restaurant I take Lavender and if your there I don't have to worry about being nervous!!", he says with a smile as his brother gives him a questioning look, "Listen just ask her to go on a date with you so I won't be trapped alone with Lav without knowing how to ask her", he says trying to get his brother to help him out and Thorn sighs and pinches the bridge of his nose before hearing the red haired girls footsteps stop and her sweet voice ring through his ears, "Hey Thorn!!", she smiles brightly which he returns the smile, "Hey Flare how are you?", he asks and she brightens up, "I'm good! And you?", she asks, "I'm good, I actually have a favor to ask", he says earning a tilt of the head from her, he quickly looks around not seeing a sight of pink hair before lowering his voice so only the two can hear, "Seth is planning to ask Lavender to marry him and he needs support, he's going to take her to dinner tonight but he's a bit out of sorts on how he's going to ask her so he wants me to go there for support, so that's why..." he pauses seeing the pink haired girl walk up to them and smile, "I want to ask if you'd like to go to dinner with me tonight?", he says out loud to the red head as if nothing else was going on. Lavender looks over at them and Flare smiles, "Of course Thorn! I'd love to!!", she says in her best acting voice and he smiles back, "great I'll pick you up tonight!", he says and she nods with a smile before they head to class. Lavender watches them leave a bit confused about what just happened and looks at Seth who just shrugs like nothing was going on. The two head to class to get through the day and Seth secretly hoping he doesn't fuck this up and he has something planned secretly.

That Night

Seth gets ready for his date with his beloved girlfriend and puts on a black and red striped plaid shirt and some jeans before putting on some shoes, he looks at himself in the mirror at his clean messy blonde hair and fixes it a bit so it's only slightly messy before looking at the mirror into his own eyes seeing his inner self that he keeps secret from everyone except Thorn of course. He blinks as his eyes change to a mixed color before blinking as they go back to a calm ocean blue before he goes and checks on his girlfriend in the bathroom to see if she's ready, he notices her fixing up her hair a bit before looking at him with a smile and shuts off the light walking to him and he gently takes her hand and leads her outside and to the restaurant.

Meanwhile with Thorn and Flare

Thorn gets dressed in a black and blue dress shirt and jeans, putting on some shoes, he runs his fingers through his clean hair making it a bit messy before heading out to pick up Flare, knocking on the door. He waits for a few minutes before the door opens revealing his best friend, he looks at her and smiles, "You look beautiful", he says and she blushes lightly and smiles up at him, "Thanks! And you look quite handsome", she says cheerfully and he smiles, holding out his hand she gladly takes it and they leave to the restaurant.

Later At The Restaurant

Seth and Lavender walk into the restaurant and get their table and get seated, they look at their menus and order some appetizers. Seth and Lavender walk in and get seated as Seth notices the two and makes sure Lavender doesn't. As they get their menus and order appetizers and drinks they start to talk with each other about their plan they made with Flare before hand although Lavender doesn't know about his plan with her. After all their food arrives they eat and chat and enjoy themselves before they finish and head out and go home for the next day.

Next Day

At school Thorn walks up to Seth and questions him about why he didn't ask Lavender to marry him. Seth closes his locker and smiles at him, "Ah didn't feel right sorry for wasting your time last night bro", he says as the two girls walk up to them. Thorn smiles, "No don't worry about it, glad you had fun on your date", he says and heads off with Flare to their next class.

With Seth and Lavender

Lavender looks up at him with a smile, "So how'd their date go?", she says as if they had nothing to do with it. Seth looks down at her with a smile, "Ahhh he didn't say but I'm sure he had fun", he says as she nods before they head to class and get through the day. As the last few week pass and the finals hit, the four study so much they don't even get to see each other. Seth talks with Lavender at night for a bit before bed to see how her finals are going while Thorn and Flare do the same with each other. They get through finals week and get to graduation without a problem, once graduation is over they all throw a party as Seth puts his plan into action.

At Party

As everyone is partying and drinking some more people start showing up at Seth's house. Everything seems to be going according to Seth's plan as he talks to his brother. He had gone to the store earlier that day to buy a ring for his girlfriend and is hoping that she'll accept him. As the evening rolls out Seth climbs up onto the stage as a song ends and grabs a mic getting everyone's attention before he starts speaking, "Hey everyone!! Hope your all enjoying yourself and I just have something to say before we continue this party but first", he faces his beloved girlfriend before continuing and motions her onto the stage, "I would like my beautiful girlfriend to come onto the stage for a moment", he says as he sees a look of confusion come across her face as she makes her way onto the stage and stops in front of him. He smiles down at her before turning her around and telling her not to turn back around until he says, the large crowd watches intensely trying to figure out what to male is doing before they see him take a step back, get down on one knee and take out a small box, opening it. They all gasp and get excited as the blonde looks at the crowd with a smirk before looking up at his girlfriend's back, "You can turn around now Lav", he says and she slowly turns around, looking down at him she lets out a gasp and covers her mouth not believing what she's seeing. Seth smiles up at her before he starts speaking, "Lavender from the day I first saw you I knew you were the one for me. Your gorgeous, stunning, amazing, feisty and many more things but most of all your caring, loving, and helpful to others, I hope that we will have many more years together, Lavender...will you marry me?", he asks with a smile as the crowd waits in anticipation. Lavender stands there with her mouth covered as she listens to his words carefully as tears start to fill her crimson eyes and she uncovers her mouth with a bright smile, "YES!!!", she screams so everyone can hear and he stands up slipping the ring on her finger and wrapping his arms around her waist and kissing her as she wraps her arm around his neck and kisses back as the crowd goes wild with cheers. As the party goes one everyone starts leaving after congratulating the two, they all go home and go to bed as Seth and Lavender head to bed themselves. They lay asleep wrapped in each other's arms.
