Chapter 8 Punishment?

      Seth calmly walks away with the others as if nothing happened and places his arms behind his head while walking with them while keeping an eye on the two kids. Seth then realizes something and looks at the boy, "Hey kid, what's your name?", he asks calmly while looking at him. The boy looks up at him and gives him a light smile, "My names Dante", he says a bit quietly and looks away to look in front of him. Steel smiles brightly and puts her hand in the air, "Yay!! Lets be friends Dante!! We'll tell Delta and Kent about it later and we can all be friends!!!", she smiles cheerfully as he smiles back and puts his hand in the air, "Ok!!", he follows her as they start running around chasing each other. They continue to chase each other as the others talk, "Soooooo how long do you think it'll take until they realize you destroyed the town?", Kali asks looking at her brother. Seth thinks for a moment before responding, "I'll give it a week if not 2, the council will probably send idiots to look over the towns damage", he says in a bored tone. Kali laughs a little, "Why do you think everyone they send to look over damage you cause is dumb?", she smirks at his response, "Because all the people they've ever send I killed or are so stupid they can't even hold their own in a fight or are to afraid to put up a fight...", he states bluntly. She nods in understanding before looking at the kids then him, "Who's taking them?", she asks his response comes out quickly but seems well thought out, "Well I don't want any kids anytime soon and neither do you so why don't we let mom and dad keep and eye on Dante? It will give Steel someone to play with so she's not getting in the way of rushing maids and butlers and shit....", he says, Kali and the other two just stare at him surprised.
        Seth and Kali head for the park with the others following them they continue to chat, make jokes and laugh to lighten up the mood. Akela keeps an eye on the two kids not the slightest bit surprised that Seth destroyed an entire town knowing the blonde doesn't take shit from nobody. He has a feeling if he has any kids he's definitely not going to take shit from them. Lavender walks next to her boyfriend and grabs his hand, he looks down at her and smiles. Kali watches the kids with a smile and feels something gently grab her hand, she looks over seeing the shadow of the male before realizing who has her hand, she blushes and looks up at him. Ace looks anywhere but her with a light blush tinting his cheeks, she smiles and looks ahead while gently squeezing his hand, he looks down at her feeling the squeeze and smiles squeezing hers gently as well and continues to walk with her. They all continue to spend the day together before heading their separate ways.

3 Weeks Later

Seth lays on the couch with his eyes closed and hands behind his head as he sleeps peacefully. Lavender sits on the couch with his head resting on her lap quietly watching tv and gently running her fingers through his hair hearing him let out a quiet soft moan. She gently smiles down at him happy to have this man in her life. She leans her back agains the couch and slowly closes her eyes to rest for a bit but hears a series of knocking on the males door and gently sits him up and slowly stands before gently laying him down making sure he's comfortable before going to the door and slowly opens it only to see some guards from the council, her eyes widen slightly before narrowing her eyes at them and opens her mouth to speak, "Hello, Can I help you gentlemen?", she asks and they nod as one speaks, "Yes we were sent here to escort Mr. Dragon to the council to have a word with the council members", the first guard says. Lavender sighs and looks behind her at the sleeping male before looking at the guards, "Give me a minute", she shut the door, more like slams it in their faces not to happy that her time with her lover has been cut short.
Lavender slowly walks to her beloved blonde boyfriend and gently runs her fingers through his golden locks before leaning down and gently kisses him. Seth slowly starts to wake up and starts to register the slight pressure on his lips before kissing back and pulling her on top on him. Lavender lets out a small gasp before remembering the guards, she slowly pulls away. Seth looks up at her shocked because she never pulls away unless something is bothering her. Seth takes a hold of her hips as he sits up so she doesn't fall and looks at her questioningly, "What's wrong Lav?", he asks concerned, she looks down before quietly responding, "Their here for you Seth....they know what you did....but I don't want them to take you away from me", she says looking up at him with a few tears in her eyes. Seth stares down at her before hearing a knock and a 'Hurry Up!!!' From the other side, he sighs and carefully stands up setting her on the couch and puts his shoes and a hoodie on before walking over to her and pick her up feeling her wrap her arms around his neck and legs around his waist before burying her face into his chest. He grabs his keys and hers placing them in his pocketa before walking out of the apartment and locking the door before getting escorted to the Reapers HQ while carrying his upset girlfriend and wrapping his arms around her to make sure she doesn't fall. They walk out of town and through the forest until they come across a wide open space with a building, Seth looks at the building before looking down at his now sleeping girlfriend with tear stains on her pink cheeks. He frowns at the sight while following the guards inside and throughout the building to some double doors. The guards let him in and he walks in carrying the still sleeping beautiful girl, he walks to the center and looks up at the council as they stare back at him and the sleeping girl. Seth looks at the 4 council members, the first one having midnight black hair, deep violet eyes and seems to be wearing a dark cloak with a scythe placed next to his chair, the next one being the leader of the council and he doesn't want to even describe this male, the next is a beautiful female with long golden blonde hair and beautiful blue eyes that has a book placed in front of her, knowing she's a witch he continues to the last male who seems to have blonde hair, crystal blue eyes and he seems pretty human but in reality he's a dragon. Seth looks at the 4 waiting for them to speak to his annoyance the one he's to lazy to describe speaks first, "Seth....are you aware of the damage you've caused?", he asks. Seth nods and speaks calmly and full of truth, "I have no regrets", he states without hesitation.
The council stares at the male not to surprised by his words they'd expect nothing less coming from Seth of course. The hooded male glances to the sleeping female in the blondes arms and raises his brow, he takes a moment before opening his mouth to speak, "Seth is there a good reason for destroying an entire town?", he asks calmly not really mad at the blonde. Seth glances at the male before opening his mouth, "Well there was an incident at the school Steel goes to about 3 weeks ago and she got into a fight so she and a boy got suspended, the next day me, Lave, Kali and Ace were out at the fair with her and Akela and the boys parents walked up starting an argument the father tried hitting me so I simply broke his arm, the mother tried cutting in so Kali took care of her while I dealt with the father, we let them go and they ran to the town leaving their son so I got pissed about that and destroyed the town", he says while looking at them. They all take in what he says and talk amongst themselves before looking at them, "We understand we'll let you off this time since your youngest sister was put in the middle of it, IF you promise not to destroy another town", Seth listens to his words and nods, "Right I'll be good", they nod and wave him off, Seth turns leaving with his girlfriend and going home with a smirk on his face, "If only I could of torn them apart instead of making the town kill them instead...I'd be more satisfied", he lets out a soft chuckle before walking through the forest and to his home seeing the town is fix he figures the council sent someone to fix it something tells him he knows exactly who. He walks up to his apartment building and goes up the stairs and unlocks the door and goes in kicking the door shut behind him and walking Lavender upstairs to their bedroom and lays her down on their bed and turns to leave but feels something grab his wrist and gently tugs on it before hearing a soft 'Don't leave me....' come from his beautiful girlfriend, turning his head and looking down at her he smiles at her and climbs in the bed with her, wrapping his arms around her he kisses her forehead and whispers, "I'd never leave you my queen", he says quietly before he hears her soft snores and gently runs his fingers through her hair before closing his eyes but doesn't fall asleep right off but does eventually.

Later

Lavender slowly wakes up and sits up rubbing her head before rubbing her eyes blinking a few times to get her eyes adjusted to the dark room once done she reaches over turning on the lamp before looking over to Seth's side of the bed not seeing him she gets a little confused as she scratches her head trying to figure out where he could be, he's not in the bedroom, she slowly gets out of bed checking the other rooms but can't find him, she suddenly remembers what happened earlier and quickly heads for the steps, running down them quickly but carefully she looks around the apartment frantically until she notices a light on, the kitchen light. She slowly makes her way to the opening and peaks in not knowing what she'll find to her relief she finds her blonde boyfriend standing in the kitchen cooking dinner shirtless, she must of been standing there staring for to long because he turns his head and looks right into her eyes and smiles, "Hey Lav, finally awake?", he says with a smile all he gets for a response is her running over and hugging him. Seth hugs back with a smile before realizing he's still cooking and separates from her to flip the steak. She watches him with a smile not being able to wait until he's done, he sets the silverware down after he's done flipping the steak and faces her and tries not to laugh. She looks at him confused before he says something about her hair and face, "Hey Lav as much as I do love you, your hair and face are a mess I think you should go take a quick shower", she looks at him but nods and heads back upstairs and grabs a change of clothes and goes and showers. She cleans up and washes her messy hair before cleaning the rest of her she rinses off and rinses out her hair before shutting off the water and stepping out, she grabs a towel and dries off before drying her messy hair and getting dressed. She walks to their bedroom and grabs her brush and tries brushing her hair and winces at the knots. Seth wondering what's taking her so long goes to their bedroom after turning the temperature on the food down. Seth walks upstairs and into their bedroom to se her trying to get the knots out and having a difficult time so he walks over to and gently takes the brush from her and carefully brushes the knots and tangles out of her hair Lavender smiles grateful to have this amazing man in her life even if he's deadly at least she knows he'll protect her.
Seth gently brushes her hair getting most of the tangles and knots out as he focuses on brushing he hears her sweet voice ringing like music through his ears, "So what did you make for dinner this time?", she smiles up at him, he looks down at her and smiles, "Steak and vegetables", she smiles brightly, "Ooooooooo that sounds delicious!!!", he chuckles and sets the brush aside and gently takes her hand leading her to the kitchen he pulls out a chair and she happily sits in it and receives her plate of food from him before he sits across from her and eats his. She gladly eats his delicious food and chats with him about what happened why she was asleep, she's really happy they let him go but she has a feeling it was because of the state she was in while in his arms but she's not complaining although she rather not be a mess the next time something like this happens. They enjoy their dinner and clean up before going to their room and watch a movie and go to sleep awaiting the next day.
