Chapter 26 Dragons Are Our Friends

Fire....Lava... Sand....Lighting.....and many more....These are some of the powers...Powers that Dragons use...Some use them to protect their families and friends and others, while some....Well....Some use them to kill...But for a good cause...This is a little story about how I befriend other species because my mom used to tell me that strength is not in numbers but more importantly...Strength is inside everyone who believes in themselves and others...By now your wonderful who I am right? Well let me tell you my story and tell you how my family became friends with the Devils.

Aster's POV

"ASTER WAKE UP!!!!!", I hear as I slowly wake up groaning, "HURRY UP OR YOU'LL BE LATE FOR YOUR FIRST DAY!!!!!", I hear the same voice say again. I grit my teeth as the voice speaks again... 'First day of school? Ha! More like first day of hell!!', I think to myself before sighing and slowly getting up and stretching. I look around after a moment to let my eyes adjust to the morning sun before climbing out of bed and quickly making it. I then go to my closet and rummaging through it for an outfit once done I place the outfit on the bed before going to the bathroom in my room and shuttling the door turning on the shower and stripping, I climb in and wash my long violet colored hair. After that I clean the rest of myself before shutting off the water, climbing out I dry off and blow dry my hair, after I walks out of the bathroom and get dressed. As I'm getting dressed I hear another yell from the kitchen, "ASTER I SWEAR TO GOD IF YOU DON'T GET YOUR ASS IN HERE IM GONNA COME IN THERE AND KICK IT!!!!!", com we're s another yell with a side of a threat but, she doesn't care it's not like her mom is going to kill her only child... I sigh before I finish getting dressed and brush my hair, 'Honestly I should get my hair cut its starting to stress me out', I thought as I put it up in a messy high ponytail, leaving my bangs out and a mess as well. Isn't it a great topping to my appearance? I'm wearing black ripped jeans, black steel toed boots, a black t-shirt with the phrase 'Shh No One Cares' on it and a black zip up hoodie. I look myself in the mirror and smile before walking out of my room and to the kitchen to see my dad sitting at the table drinking coffee and my mom setting the table with delicious food. I walk over and sit down and eat the delicious meal but not before thanking my mom.

A Little Later

After breakfast I wash my dishes and kiss bother of my parents cheeks and say goodbye before grabbing my backpack and heading outside, my wings come out to help me get there faster. Not much time passes before I land in front of the school and fold my wings letting them disappear for now. I've heard this school is very particular about how they run things...I mean college schools are like that right? Well I if not I rather be safe then sorry. I walk up to to front of the school and see different groups of students outside some large groups and some small then some decent a amount. I look around wondering where the principals office could be as I head up the stairs and look around when I get inside. I guess I was so busy looking around I didn't notice where I was going because I bumped into something..or perhaps...someone..
I gasp and now my head, "I'm so sorry!! I was looking for the principals office and I wasn't paying attention to where I was going so I'm r-", someone cut me off and she sounded pissed... "Ugh!!! Just watch were your going!! You just ran into my boyfriend!!", I hear a high pitched snarky remark which I stand straight up and look at the two people in front of me. I took in their appearances and put them in the back of my mind for later use, the girl looks to be wearing a very expensive looking outfit and a sickening amount of makeup it almost makes me want to vomit...almost. this girl looks more like a wolf decided to eat her but changed its mind and through her back up...I mean...if I was that wolf I'd probably do the same.... I must have been staring to much because she goes to say something but I advert my eyes and decide to ignore her, when I look away though my eyes just happened to meet a pare of deep ocean blue. I tilt my head now taking in his appearance, short messy blonde hair, again his deep ocean blue eyes, he doesn't seem to be wearing anything expensive.. just a pair of blue jeans, black t-shirt, black zip up hoodie and some sneakers and a hat. I look st him for another moment seeing an annoyed look on his face as if he was hoping someone would save him from this bitch, that is before the 'pesky princess' starts bitching again, however before she can get a work out a beautiful girl walks up to them having long beautiful pink hair and crimson red eyes that glares at the 'Princess' for a moment before speaking, "I thought I told you to stay away from my husband!!!", she snaps obviously scaring the girl. I just watch with amusement before noticing the pink haired female holding something, taking a closer look my eyes widen to see a baby carrier in her hand, 'Hmm married and a kid? Well I guess I'm happy for them but this little 'Princess' bitch is starting to piss me off'. I look at the female arguing with the pink haired girl before I get irritated and turn the barbie doll around and grab her face as my hand heats up and her screams start echoing in the halls getting kids attentions as I practically melt off the girls face...although I could of just electrocuted her but it's to late for that. I let go of her face and watch her lifeless body drop to the floor. Everyone just stares at me until I turn my attention to them all, "Can any of you be so kind and show me where the principals office is?", I ask sweetly but everyone stays quiet until one girl speaks up, "I will", I hear from behind me and I turn to see a girl with long blond hair with color in it but what catches my eyes is the blindfold placed over her eyes. I stare at her for a moment before slowly nodding, "Um..yeah ok, may I know your name so I don't have to call you a blind bat?", I asks making the blonde laugh a little. She smiles at me and I swear I see some fangs peaking out, 'What is she? A vampire? Is that why her eyes are covered? She could be a day Walker...' I thought before her voice rings through my ears, "Of yes of course! My name is Kali", she says with a smile, "Oh and this is my husband Ace, Our son Zagan, the person you bumped into is my eldest brother Seth and pinky over there is his wife Lavender and that's their daughter Lilac", she introduces with a smile. I smile back at them all, "Its nice to meet you all my names Aster", I say introducing myself with a smile before remembering, "Oh yeah!! Can one of you by chance be able to show me where the principals office is?", I ask and Kali smiles at her,"Sure!! Just follow me!!", she says before leading the way to the principals office.
