Chapter 9 A New Life?

     Seth wakes up in the morning slowly opening his drowsy eyes and looks over at his sleeping girlfriend in his arms that has a smile on her face, he smiles at the site of the gorgeous female and then remembers yesterday's events and frowns. He slowly sits up being extra careful not to startle her or make her cry in her sleep like she was the day before. He slips out of bed without a sound and moves to the dresser and slowly opens it making sure not to wake his sleeping girlfriend who will probably cry again if she finds out he's not there before realizing he's still inside the house like last night. Seth quietly grabs some clothes and heads to the bathroom to shower. He turns on the water to get it to the right temperature before stripping and climbing in, once the water hits his skin he lets out a relieved sigh and cleans himself while thinking about the past couple of weeks. He continues to think before hearing a beautiful voice from the other side of the door and a soft knock, "Seth? I'm going to start making breakfast do you want anything specific for me to cook?", she asks and he just smiles wondering how he could every imagine having a better girl then his. He smiles before responding, "Why don't you get some stuff out and we can cook together?", he calls out as he hears her quick footsteps from the other side of the door leaving. Seth shakes his head but continues his shower, he cleans his golden locks before cleaning the rest of himself, once done he shuts the water off and climbs out, grabbing a towel he dries off before getting dressed and heading down to the kitchen. He walks into the kitchen and smirks at the sight of his girlfriend trying to reach a bowl and all the ingredients on the counter, he lets out and chuckle and walks over, grabbing the bowl he hands it to her while saying, "Here you go shortie". Lavender smiles brightly and gladly takes it but hears he say 'Here you go shortie' and glares at him and puffs out her cheeks, "I'm NOT short!! I'm average height!!", she then sets the bowl down and gets to work. He shakes his head with a smile and gets the pans out and sets them on the stove, turning it on to heat it up before going to her and wraps his arms around her waist, watching her quietly. Lavender smiles and places all the necessary ingredients in the bowl before letting him mix them. Seth grabs a whisk and starts mixing the ingredients until they are completely mix before setting the bowl down.
      The two continue to make their breakfast, Lavender making French toast while Seth makes everything else because he's the better cook. They make their food and sit down and eat, after eating they clean up and decide to stay in and watch movies so nothing bad happens. Lavender goes and picks out the movie and puts it in the player to let the previews go by. She sets everything up while Seth does the dishes real quick and dries his hands off after, he then heads for the living room and sits down, watching her set up everything before walking over and sitting next to him, leaning against him she smiles as he places his arms around her and kisses her forehead. Once the movie starts they get lost in it and in each other's embrace.

Meanwhile with Kali

Kali slowly wakes up hearing the sound of 4 kids in the next room and she slowly sits up and yawns while stretching. She climbs out of bed and makes her way out her room, down the hall and to the other bedroom and smiles seeing Steel, Delta, Kent and Dante playing together of course not with dolls but with dinosaurs, cars and other toys like that, she smiles and goes to the kitchen and makes breakfast for the 5 of them, she sets the table with a little feast before calling down the kids. She suddenly hears them running done the stairs and she screams at them, "STOP RUNNING DOWN THE STAIRS I DON'T NEED TO CLEAN UP KIDS OFF THE FLOOR!!!!!!!", she screams to them. They all suddenly stop and calmly walk the rest of the way down and scurry to the kitchen and sit at the table, she walks over and sits down and eats with them. They all eat and enjoy the food, Kali takes care of the dishes when they are done while the kids go upstairs and get dressed before coming down, she brings them to the park and watches them run around before Dante walks up to her a bit nervous, "U-um e-excuse m-me?", he asks, Kali looks towards him and smiles, "Is there anything wrong Dante?", she asks sweetly while he shakes his head before speaking, "U-um....w-well since m-my p-p-parents are g-gone w-where a-am I g-going to g-go?", he asks nervously. Kali stares at him for a moment before smiling, "Oh dear you can stay with me until you get older and be what you want to be", she says with a sweet smile. He stares at her surprised, "S-so does.....does that mean I'm your son now?", he asks trying not to stutter, she smiles at him and asks a final question that will seal his fate at least for now, "Do you want to be?", he stares up at her and smiles bright and nods, "Yes! Please!", she smile and holds out her arms and he runs to her and hugs her, she hugs back with a smile happy to have this boy in her life while Dante is happy to have a new life with someone as caring as this blonde female, he then gets a question that crosses his mind and looks up at her, "Does this mean your my new mom?", he asks taking Kali by surprise but she smiles down at him, "Of course I'll be your new mother Dante...just no more getting into fights ok? We don't need a repeat of what's happened in the past weeks ok?", she asks sweetly while he nods and responds with a happy, "I promise!". Kali smiles and lets him go back to playing with the other kids as she watches, the smile never leaving her face as she watches he now son, her little sister and their 2 friends play and have fun not knowing of what a certain dark haired male is planning for her nor does he know of a certain blonde beauty accepting to being a mother. The day goes by with happiness filling the air and once night starts to fall she brings Delta and Kent to their respective homes before bringing Dante and Steel back to hers and making dinner and for the 3 of them, they eat and Kali sends them to bed early since they go back to school tomorrow morning before heading to bed herself. Dante smiles as he slowly falls asleep happy to have new friends, a new family and especially a new life with a wonderful mother.
