Chapter 17 Charms Help Communicate With What?

Deep in the forest there lives a powerful witch that uses all types of magic. She lives in by a waterfall with beautiful land while the rest of the forest is dark and scary. The witch was kind to animals and animals that have human forms, but as for humans themselves she despised them. She was a tall female with extremely light blonde hair and deep dark forest green eyes. Now this isn't any ordinary magic wielded, no this blonde female is also an animal like the others. The blonde is the oldest living being on the planet as you could say. This woman can communicate telepathically but not vocally, she uses multiple types of magic. She walks through the forest making sure everything is in order and the animals are happy and fed not knowing of a little wondering dark haired female walking through her forest.
     Steel makes her way through the forest with Dante as they had grew up a bit so they appear to be in their teens when they really aren't. Steel looks around for something not being able to find it. Dante walks towards the waterfall as they get closer to it. Steel looks around and then at the waterfall but still can't find it but she sees the sun shine off an item on a high rock and she runs over and slowly climbs it, she gets on top of the rock and looks around until she spots the object and crawls over gently grabbing it and climbing down carefully and jumping down. Dante walks over to see what she found, looking down he sees a charm for a bracelet or necklace and raises a brow, "A charm? Did someone lose it?", he asks curiously. Steel only shrugs and places it in her pocket unaware of the two being watched, "We'll hold onto it and find whoever left it", she says with a smile and he nods smiling back, "Right", they head off again to do some more exploring while trying to find the owner of the charm. The blonde woman watches them walk off with the charm and narrows her eyes, she had left the charm their on purpose to see if a worthy warrior would find it but to her surprise a young girl found it, she follows them from the shadows thinking of how the prophecy changed but she'll have to look at that later. She watches the two from then on making sure nothing happens to the charm and wondering if one of them will figure out what it does and how to use it.
     Steel and Dante head back home having no luck on finding the owner of the charm. Steel goes to her bedroom and gently sets down the charm wondering why someone would leave it behind. She gets changed into her pajamas before walking over and gently raises the charm to get a better look at it, holding it up to the light she notices it's in the shape of a T-Rex and tilts her head, "A T-Rex?, Well that's interesting aren't they extinct like all the other dinosaurs?", she asks herself a bit confused before setting the charm down gently before going to eat dinner with her sister, Ace and nephew but she prefers to call him her friend even though Kali adopted him. She eats with everyone as they talk about their days, Steel mentioning the charm they found and hoping to find the owner of it. They all eat, watch a movie then go to bed, Steel hiding the charm to keep it safe, where did she hide it do you ask? Well she hid it on her. Steel carful places a thin string in the loop of the charm before tying it around her wrist as if making a bracelet. Steel then climbs into bed and goes to sleep awaiting morning to find the charms owner.

In The Morning

     Steel wakes up in the morning and looks at her wrist to make sure the charms still there, to her relief it is and she climbs out of bed and gets dressed before heading down for breakfast. She eats with everyone before heading off to school with Dante to meet up with their two friends. Steel keeps hold of the charm so they can search for the owner after school. Dante looks over at her, "You think we'll even find it's owner? They could be long gone by now...", he says and she shrugs, "Could be but I rather be safe then sorry...but I'm curious as to why it's a dinosaur charm...", she replies getting a shrug from him, "Lets just tell Delta and Kent", he says and she nods until something struck her in her mind and she smirks at him, "Hey Dante you NEVER say Delta before Kent, do you liiiiiiiiiiike heeeeeeeeeerrrr", she says teasing hIm and he blushes lightly, "It's not like that!! What makes you think I like her?", he asks, turning his attention to her and Steel's smirk widens, "Oh I don't know....", she pauses, "Maybe because your turning 50 shades of red!!!", she laughs and he blushes more and glares at her, "Your going to hold this over my head aren't you?", he asked and she nods, "Yup!! At least...until you ask her out", she nudges him with her elbow and he swats at her making her laugh. They make it to school, meet up with the other two and go to their classes.

Lunch Time

At lunch the four meet up and go outside and eat their lunch and chat. Steel tells them about the charm she found not sure what it is or what it means. The others listen but Delta actually uses her brain unlike the two boys and contributes to the conversation as Steel responds to her, "I don't know what it means...it's a dinosaur charm, it was left sitting there and I just happened to find it while walking with Dante", she says not knowing what the reason for finding the charm means. Delta takes in all the information before respond, "Well in some countries Steel, finding a charm is good luck...although these kind of charms are used for contacting the spirit animals", she says making the other three stare at her. Steel takes a moment to process the females words, "Wait wait wait wait wait.....", she pauses for a moment getting all three of their attentions, "THEY DO WHAT?!?!?!?!", she screams out surprised before looking at the charm and Delta only nods, "Yeah that's right they are meant to be used to contact the animal spirits...", she trails off before grabbing Steel's wrist and pulling it closer to get a better look at the charm, "And looks like your spirit...is a T-Rex....which means...", she suddenly gasps making them all look at her confused, "STEEL YOU HAVE THE CARM CONNECTED TO THE OLDEST LIVING BEING THAT WALKED THE EARTH!!!!! DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS?!?!?!", she screams really excitedly and Steel shakes her head, "No....what does this mean?.", she asks, tilting her head as Delta explains, "That means you can contact her!!! She's chosen you as the new guardian!!!!!!", she says extremely excited and Steel thinks to herself before responding, "New....guardian? Does that mean I have to collect more of these charms?", she asks a bit confused. Getting a nod from the other female she shrugs, "Seems interesting...I'm up for the challenge", she grins making them all grin back. Kent smiles at her, "We'll help you!!", the other two nod in agreement and they eat their lunches before hearing the bell and going to their classes to finish up the day, once school is over they start hunting for more charms, by dinner time Steel has acquired 3 other charms making her have the T-Rex, Leopard, Dragon and Wolf. They all head to their homes to eat and sleep for the next day.
