I turn on the torch with a smirk and Finn's gang member's eyes widen with terror. I bring the flame to his right foot and look up at him. "Tell me where Finn and the rest of your gang are."

He grits his teeth. "I... can't."

Okay then.

I draw a line of burning flesh on the side of his foot and he screams out in white hot pain. He doesn't want to talk? That's fine then, he'll suffer a long and painful death --- just like the ones before him did. His screams stop when I pull away, but pants and whimpers still escape from his mouth. I force him to look me in the eyes. I tilt my head. "Have you changed your mind? Are you going to tell me where Finn is?"

Where Finn is, his gang is; where his gang is, the people who murdered Lauren, Jess and Baron are.

My anger flares when his spits in my face, a few drops of saliva going on my lips and eyes. I stand up straight and turn around the face Adam. "Torture him until he's dead."

He nods, and I leave the room. The next one better talk, because he's the last one. I don't care how long it will take, I'll do whatever I can to find out where the rest of his fūckers are. I open the door and glare at the man strapped to the uncomfortable, cold metal chair. Unlike the others at the beginning, he looks terrified. I smirk. I bet getting answers out of him will be much, much easier.

The scared, pathetic man looks around with his wide eyes. "Is Adam here?"

I frown. If he knew my name, that would make sense; if he knew Lauren's name, as well as the members of my family, that wouldn't shock me since they've been spying on us, but how the fūck does he know one of my men's name? Plus, it's not like Adam was over here that often. Besides a few, all of our meetings have been in the building I bought.

I shake off the fact that he knows more than he should and start my interrogation. "That doesn't matter if he's here or not. What matters is if you tell me where your precious gang is."

"I don't know," he says, his voice shaking a little. Perfect. I pull out a knife from my back pocket, and his skin gets even more pale. "I r - really don't know where they are, but I do know something."

I roll my eyes in annoyance. Great. What is he going to tell me? Some stūpid fact about our planet or some fūcking animal? Who knows? Maybe he spent too much time with Cooper.

"What is it?" I growl.

"Finn didn't kill Lauren Johnson --- no one did."

My eyes snap to his. He better not be joking or I will kill him the most painful, long and creative way. My Lauren better be alive, he better wish that I don't catch his lie.

I fold my arms over my chest. "Then, where is she?"

"Finn sold her to a hūman trąfficking rīng. Apparently, Lighter got her."

That does sound like something that weak ąss gang leader would do, because of that, I swear under my breath. Lighter has her? This is not good, not good at all. Of all the things Finn could have done to her, he chooses the most scaring one, being sold to Lighter only makes things that much worse. He's not just a gang in the States, he's the number one gang leader, the most feared, the one you do not mess with. Unfortunately, he's buddy-buddy with Finn and his gang, which means he'll accept nothing from me to get Lauren. Fortunately, the second best gang leader in the United States of America, is one of my allies. I'm sure that they could pull something off. Plus, their gang leader owes me.
