"How? Are you.....Did you......Are you stalking Emerald, kuya Lawrence?" I was totally shocked from what I just saw. I couldn't believe he will go to this extreme.

Kuya Lawrence rolled his eyes on me. Umupo ito ng maayos at tinitigan ulit ang monitor. His lips twisted when the girl on the screen laughed while talking to other receptionists.

"She's a baby, isn't she?" he blurted out while grinning like a fucking maniac.

Holy crap.

I can't believe I am seeing him behaving like a teenage boy crushing over a girl!

"Seriously, kuya? You are very creepy! Could you stop that? I think you are even breaking some rules here! Hello, may I just remind you that you are the CEO of this company! Stop acting like an idiot! My gahhhd!" I was fanning myself. I am getting hysterical here.

"Kailan ka pa nanghingi ng access from our Security? At kailan ka pa nagka-interes sa ganyang bagay? There are so many things that need to be done here than stare at your monitor the entire day!"

"You are so nosy, Veronica." Kalmante nitong  sabi. He sighed and looked longingly at the screen before he shut down his computer. "Happy?" he made a face.

"Are you really that serious towards her? Do you really like her that much to the extent that you have to watch her through lenses? You even broke the rules here, Kuya. I can't believe you."

"I am the owner and CEO of this damn company and I don't give a fuck about breaking rules. I have access to everything, FYI." He rebutted.

Umiiling-iling ako. He was acting like a child. Parang biglang nagbago ang katauhan ng kapatid ko. He never acted like this before!

Nakakabahala.

"Saan ka natulog kagabi? I went to your room and I could tell you didn't sleep there. Kagabi ka pa nakabalik but you didn't even bother to show your face to me. It's very unsual.  Why is that?" Pinaningkitan ko ito ng mata.

"Give me a damn break." He answered plainly.

"That's it? Yan lang ba kang isasagot mo sa akin? Something is wrong with you, Kuya!"

"I slept somewhere else, okay!"

"With a woman?"

"No, with a guy, little brat." He snarled at me like my question was the most stupid thing he ever heard.

"I know there is something special in the way you treat our intern, kuya. Tell me, are you falling in love with her?"

Nanlaki ang mata nito at mabilis na umiling. "Hell, no!"

"Really?"

"Really!"

"Sure ka na sa sagot mo na yan?"

"I am very sure!"

I sighed. Men. Bakit ba ang hirap hirap para sa kanilang aminin na sila'y may nararamdaman na? Samantalang kaming mga babae ay mabilis umamin sa mga sarili namin na kami ay nahuhulog na.

"So you suddenly know how to text, eh?" panunuya ko pa while looking at his phone on the table.

Mabilis na kinuha nito ang aparato and hid it away from my sight. I smirked. As if naman pakikialaman ko ang cellphone niya.

"You hate texting. Sabi mo it's a waste of time. Naghihirap na ba tayo at nanghihinayang ka na sa charge ng tawag?" Ngumisi ako sa kanya  ngunit matalim lang akong tinignan nito.
