Romeo's POV
It had nearly been three weeks and only a few sightings of Leo were caught on the extra surveillance around the park. I find it hard to believe that there has only been a few sightings as Mel said that she were seeing him all the time. Mel had proven that she was trustworthy with the banking and other errands she was sent on. Amy hadn't seen much while watching Mel for Carmela, but here were a few odd things that I spotted. There were subtle but it appeared that she was sitting on a particular bench in the park for a little longer than normal, then when she left Leo would sit on the same bench a while later for a few minutes before leaving the park. I only shared my thoughts with Timo, Enzo would think I'm looking for something incriminating on go on the defence or tell Mel my thoughts and I didn't want that if something was really going on. Timo installed a camera under the bench to see if I was being paranoid or not. The camera has only been there for a few days and not caught anything as of yet, but I still have this feeling that it will.
3 Days Later - Thursday
It has now been three weeks and still nothing, we needed to re plan. Leo is more aloof than we thought that he would be. It's like he has been tipped off, which made me think of that footage I was concerned about before. I was about to look up the bench footage when the girls all came not my office all chatting excitedly, distracting me from my thoughts. "Romeo, why aren't you ready?" Carmela hugged me tightly and pecked my cheek. "You forgot, didn't you?" Enzo and Timo burst through the door laughing to each other and I was confused at what everyone was so happy about and in my office. "Why aren't you ready?" This question was starting to annoy me. "Yes okay I forgot. What the fuck is going on?" I snapped, which caused Camy to giggle as she sat on my lap. "It's Melanie's birthday were all going for a meal at that French place in the city." I started to get up and set Camy back onto her feet before walking to my bedroom as everyone else exited my office.
I really didn't want to go, I was not in the mood to be around people socialising. "Hey, you nearly done?" I looked over my shoulder as I was fixing my tie. Carmela came into the closet and replaced my hands at my tie. "You know you look sexy in maroon, I can't wait for dessert." She eyed me seductively while finishing my tie. I pulled her into my arms and kissed her. "Keep talking like that and we won't make it to dinner." I squeezed her ass and snuggled into her neck placing kisses softly, she tilted her head giving me more access and moaned in pleasure. "We could just stay here, and keep doing this." I could tell she was contemplating it, so I made it harder for her by starting to unzip her dress. "No. We need... We need to go." She took a step back forcing space between us, while trying to gain her composure and zipped up her dress. "Fine but let's make it quick. I want you in that shower later bent over and ready for me." She smirked wickedly. "I'll think about it." I laughed. "So will I." I whispered into her ear before spanking her ass and walking out my closet.
Carmela's POV
We went to the posh French restaurant that Enzo took Mel to for their first date. The maître D was welcoming and seated us instantly at a table towards the back of the dining room which was quaintly lit with candles and red wine was poured for all of us. I passed my glass of wine to Mel and took a sip from my iced water bitterly. Not being able to drink was starting to annoy me, I can't wait for this baby to be born to get my body back and start to enjoy things again. I only seem to be able to get out of breath, need to pee and want sex. That last part wasn't so bad but still I was uncomfortable, and it was only going to get worse.
All the way through dinner I was distracted by Romeo as he stroked my thigh. I could tell he wanted to get out of here and go home, but it's been ages since we've all been together, so I wanted to be together as a group. Reluctantly, I pushed his creeping hand from my thigh and turned my back to him facing the girls. "Please excuse me a moment." Mel excused herself from the table and Enzo ordered another round of drinks for the table.
