Romeo's POV

I walked down the corridor back up towards the main house contemplating who the rat could be. Mel had become one of my suspects now that Leo had mentioned the rat. He clearly knew who it was, but he could only be asking so I would focus on that as a distraction. I needed to clean up before I went to check up on Rose. Quickly deciding that Enzo's room would be easiest as I couldn't use my own bathroom and I needed clothes. I walked in a dark room and straight towards the bathroom turning on the light but leaving the door open, no one was here so what did it matter. I took a shower letting the hot water wash away my sins. "I've been waiting for you." A voice rang in my ears as hands ran over my body and grabbed at my dick. I pushed them away quickly pinning whoever it were to the wall before turning off the water to let the steam settle.

A stunned Mel faced me as she grabbed at my wrist trying to get away. "I'm sorry. I thought you were Enzo." She squirmed under my grip, which only drew my attention to her naked body. "Get out." I ordered as I let her go, she slid down the wall before stumbling out the shower and wrapped herself in a towel. 'What the fuck', I thought as I dried off and left the bathroom to get dressed.

The lights were all off as I cracked the door to my room, I just wanted to see if she were still asleep before I went to check the new surveillance. The light from the landing illuminated the room but she wasn't in bed, opening the door more I scanned the room, but to no avail, only a sleeping Amy. Panic was creeping up my spine as the bathroom was empty also.

I quickly went into my office, wanting to check the cameras to see if I could locate her. I frantically typed on the keyboard and looked at each camera not finding her. "Looking for me?" A beautiful voice sounded from my right, I followed its sound. "What are you doing in that tree?" I sounded relieved but also confused and concerned as to why she would be there. "Just thinking?" She replied, making her way tentatively back to me. "What about?" I asked as I helped her through the window. "I froze. When it truly mattered, I froze. I wasn't able to protect our child. What if I'm a bad mother? What if I can't protect our child?" Her panic was escalating quickly, I rubbed her back slowly while I held her in a tight embrace. I pulled back slightly looking into her eyes. "You will be a great mother and you will be a force to be reckoned with if anyone tried anything towards our child." She tried to protest but I didn't let her and placed a kiss to her lips, she melted into my touch and I knew her panic was over but not forgotten. I guided her back to bed and tucked her in next to Amy. "Romeo, promise me one thing." She whispered at me as I looked at her expectantly. "Always protect child over anything else."

I slumped down in my desk chair, Rose's request causing fear to rise up in me again as I slid my hands through my hair. I will do everything in my power to protect our child and her, but I know things are only going to get worse at the hands of her grandfather. I need to find him quickly, but where to start. 'Get a fucking grip.' I told myself and pulled the laptop over to me. I'll start with the surveillance of the east docks and see if I can gather any information, then go back downstairs to pay Leo another visit.

I opened the live feed from the cameras, the view was of a general docking yard, shipping containers were stacked around loosely but no one could be seen. The entrance of the warehouse looked dilapidated, like it wouldn't be hard to storm the place, but I knew better than that, especially if it is Vincent's stronghold. After about an hour of continuous watching the entrance through the screen, it slowly slid open and a young looking boy exited the warehouse. You could tell that he were struggling to close the door behind him, verifying I was right, and the door was deceivingly reinforced.

Timo and Enzo appeared not so long after that. I relayed the information that I had gathered so far, and we started to formulate a plan of how and where we could make an effective attack if we needed to. We decided that it is a place of great potential and if nothing else could provide us with information or weapons we could seize. Lorenzo was set the task of monitoring the footage and to keep me updated hourly, to see if members could be identified.
