Chapter 9
"BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP! Get up lazy dogs!"
I groaned as I squinted up at a smirking Chris.
"Who you callin a dog!?" Kylee snapped, crawling out of bed.
Chris was smart enough to run out the door.
I got out from under my warm covers and went over to get ready for school.
Oh.
School.
With Tyler.
The memories of last night came flooding back to me like a slap in the face.
Kill me now.
The night I had walked in on the whole messed up scene, Chris had kicked out Mike and Donna, which I had congratulated him for later, and had told me that he had found out everything, and had punched Tyler.
He was still pissed at Tyler, but had forgiven me cuz I'm that awesome.
After that, me and Kylee had revealed our brilliant plan to Tyler and Chris.
They had first laughed at us and told us it wasn't gonna work, but then we had convinced them it would, so they were in on, as Kylee likes to call it, 'Operation Cali'.
After that, Tyler had decided that he switch to the same school as me, after winning the argument, with Kylee on his side and Chris on mine.
So now I had to deal with 'hi royal ass' following me around like a lost puppy, since he had managed to get the exact same schedule as me.
I don't even know how he had gotten to switch schools this early, on such short notice.
I washed up quickly and changed into a pair of black denim jeans with a red tank top and a black leather jacket, completed with black leather boots.
The whole 'badass' look was insisted by Kylee.
Kylee sat me down and applied mascara and cherry red lip balm on my face, as I kept squirming.
I was only agreeing to this, because of Kylee's deal for ten packets of Twix chocolate, twelve packets of Mr.Noodles, and a whole box of red velvet cupcakes, every week.
I was a good bargainer.
She had tried to force me to wear blush on too, but I had told her no.
I skipped downstairs and ate breakfast with Kylee and Tyler, once I was done being Barbietized.
Don't ask me how I convinced Chris to let Tyler stay for the night.
Speaking of the devil...
Chris came downstairs with Jordan struggling to keep up with him.
Chris glared at Tyler, grabbed an apple, and said goodbye.
"Bye Jordan! Try not to upset Chrissy too much!" I yelled out, chuckling.
"Okay! Bye bye Hillree!" Jordan waved at me, ignoring the other two people, and ran out the door.
I laughed. He hadn't even noticed there was a stranger sitting in our house.
Chris' friend was giving them both a ride today, since Chris didn't want to be in the same car as Tyler.
Hell, he didn't want to be in the same country as Tyler!
"Let's go!" I said, grabbing my keys to my red convertible and walking out the front door.
Tyler got in on the passenger side, and Kylee jumped in the back seat.
